ibis Berlin Dreilinden 2 stars

We initially thought the mattress was no more than a mattress topper. It was approximately 10 cm thick, however it turned out to be comfortable. The hotel was basic as expected, the room was clean, and the air conditioning worked. Overall, it was a proximate and economical overnight stay with free car parking before returning the hire car, the next morning in Berlin.

We can recommend this hotel because of the convenient location in Dreilinden next to the motorway from Potsdam to Berlin and the 24 hour reception. This Ibis hotel is opposite the B&B hotel in Dreilinden. Parking is 3 euro's per day. Next to the hotel there is a gas station and an Mac Donalds. Our room on the ground floor was basic and some furniture was damaged. It was very quiet though and the beds were good. Checkin was easy and quick. That was what we were looking for. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the west part of Berlin.

You website clearly states you have A Restaurant with terrace. Given the location - with only a McDonalds nearby - this is a pretty big issue. I plan to go back to eBay roughly once a month but I won't stay there. This is a deal breaker. The TV with only German options seems strange. I've never been in a hotel that didn't offer at least a few languages. At least CNN and BBC. This isn't all that important but just one more downside. It's too bad because the room is fine, the staff if very nice.

The staff were extremely helpful with additional requests like borrowing an iron, booking a taxi for us and giving us some advice on directions.

Basic clean small rooms, no water cooker, no glass, no cup, no glass in bathroom. Some noisy guests around the floor at night. Basic German breakfast. Porc saussage next the cheese, maybe not convenient for halal or kosher food requirements. Friendly receptionist at check-in. Good location next to the forest around Kleinmachnow, near to highway.
