In general this is a really nice hotel. Location is good, bed is comfy, shower is good, breakfast is good. Staff are lovely. But it is an old hotel and some features suffer as a result. Lighting is problematic and a few other issues. Room service food not great and expensive.

From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome. The room was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and I especially enjoyed the opening windows. The breakfast buffet had everything you could imagine, and more. The features that attracted me to Movenpick in the first place were the sauna, swimming pool, and gym, which didn't disappoint. As for Chocolate Hour....wow!!!! It was sad having to check out and I will definitely be back.

We loved our stay in Movenpick Wellington, staff were exceptional, facilities were fantastic and our room on 8th floor was exactly what we were hoping for. Our daughter absolutely loved the chocolate hour and the indoor pool. Will come back!
