Room was very modern and clean, loved the rainfall shower with extra head, bed was comfy, pool, sauna and gym were excellent and the chocolate hour was a definite highlight.

I recently stayed at Mövenpick Wellington and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival, the welcome felt quite underwhelming. There was little to no proper greeting, and the welcome gift was minimal and disappointing. Compared to other stays, the absence of a standard touch like a bottle of wine made it feel less special. The room itself also fell short. The bathroom was surprisingly small — even for me as a shorter guest — which made it quite uncomfortable to use. Additionally, the exhaust fan was not functioning properly. When I reported it, it remained unresolved and continued to be excessively loud throughout the stay, which was quite frustrating. Service was another area that could be improved. The staff were polite but did not come across as particularly warm or attentive, which impacted the overall experience. Dining was also disappointing. The salmon dish we ordered lacked flavor entirely, which was unexpected given the hotel’s reputation. Overall, the stay was not as satisfactory as I had hoped. With some improvements in service, attention to detail, and room maintenance, this hotel could offer a much better guest experience.
