Stayed for work - great atmosphere. Staff is extremely welcoming. Easy walk down via secret lift to eateries and bars on Cuba Street. NIce and quiet and dark rooms. Very luxurious. However the parking is now very expensive.

Just loved Sauna and gym and pool. I would recommend putting another water cooler next to the sauna, rather in gym. Nice touch with cookies in the morning and I wish I had attended the chocolate hour but the schedule did not allow.

Really enjoyed my stay at Mövenpick Wellington and will return again. Staff were great, no hassles, fast check in/checkout and great communication. Room itself was nice, very clean and well-appointed. Only gripe was the wind noise (but I haven’t yet found a hotel that doesn’t whine on a windy Wellington day) and a bit of noise from my neighbours. But to be fair, all that was expected so no marks against the hotel itself IMO. Good food too.
