My husband and I spent a wonderfully relaxing 3 nights for our wedding anniversary staying in a Balcony Room. We were given the tip-off regarding balcony rooms from a local friend and we’re very happy we did. The view is spectacular, the room gorgeously decorated in keeping with the heritage vibe of the house and was extremely comfortable. Highlights were the impeccable service by every staff member especially the gentleman at front of house but also Hardys restaurant waiters. Food and wine were top notch. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing trip this is it. Highly recommended to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life especially for us Melburnians!

From the time we arrived to the time we left, the service and hospitality was amazing. So many wonderful spaces to relax and unwind and the food was spectacular. Our dining "experience" in the Hardy's Verandah Restaurant was memorable. We asked our staff serving the food not to reveal what we were eating until after we had finished each course and this increased the enjoyment even more for us. The incredible skills of the chefs were evident after seeing and tasting everything. What a treat. We stayed in the Tower Suite and it felt like we were away from everything. This is a hidden gem of the beautiful Adelaide Hills and well worth our 8 hour drive to get there.

Attended Mount Lofty House with a group of 6 friends and had a sensational time. The location itself is perfect as there is a lot to do around Mount Lofty (Botanic Gardens, hike to the Summit, wineries, Handorf, Gatekeepers Day Spa) however it is also close enough to venture to the city if you’d like. The most amazing part was just feeling so at home and welcome at Mount Lofty House. Christopher’s tour is a must do! All staff were incredible and service was above and beyond. For any of the meals, it doesn’t matter what you order on the menu- it’s all amazing. We will be back!

We had a lovely stay and dining experience at Mt Lofty House. The rooms have a lovely ambiance and the views are spectacular. The beds are super comfortable. We live locally but visit MLH for anniversaries and special occasions and always enjoy the experience. Christopher's 4.30 house tour is not to be missed! It is a fun way to set up the evening and learn of MLH's history. Dinner at Hardy's Veranda Restaurant is superb. The degustation menu is brilliant. There is an amazing range of food and variety of flavors - all exquisitely presented. The wine list is extensive with a paired selection available that compliments the food superbly. This is world class dining! Breakfast overlooking the Piccadilly Valley completed the experience. Watching the dense fog lift as the sun rose higher to reveal the valley was just amazing.
