For a 5 star hotel i was disappointed. The good: Fantastic location. Beds were comfortable and the shower and bath were huge! Eye Fillet in the Parc restaurant was a beautiful cut of meat and cooked well (Rare) The bad: Pillows were too soft. Water pressure in shower was low but I think that's because it was some environmentally friendly one. No spring water in the fridge, but they had sparkling water. Bedding was average (again I expected more for 5 stars) The meal we had was average. Chargrilled squid was so small it shouldn't have been taken away from its mother and there were about a dozen small cold rings. Eye fillet was lovely but the bearnaise sauce wasn't nice at all. For dessert we had snow eggs with a toffee that was stuck to the bottom of the plate and wouldn't move no matter how much we smashed it. Food was neither hot nor cold. Buffet breakfast was ok, again the food was neither hot nor cold. Would I have gone if I knew it was $40 a head - hell no! All in all, I would stay again if i had a night in town but eat at the local pub.

It was fine. I was disappointed that the description of the package I booked wasn't clear. It said "breakfast for two" but really only was breakfast for 1. Very misleading as I booked 2 rooms but has booked one with the package so my work colleague and I could have breakfast. The restaurant offering was fine - just felt that serving size was a bit small and a lack of variety for a vegetarian.

“This hotel was incredible! The room was fantastic - spacious, well presented and impeccably clean. The location was unbeatable - close proximity to city centre . But the best part was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay amazing. I highly recommend this hotel!"
