Sistarazzi TripAdvisor review

My partner and I stayed at the Pullman recently, from the 23 – 26 November, 2024. We stay there quite regularly, and I have personally been a loyal customer for numerous years. Most of the staff there truly look after you and treat you with such kindness, care and nothing is too much trouble. We would like to mention the following people and offer them gratitude for their wonderful service – Rohan at breakfast time, Jenny who makes awesome coffee at breakfast, Jason, Clemont, and Georgia and Rohan on the desk, were all fantastic. The concierge crew are all such wonderful gentleman also. We love you JB, Christophe and David! Thank you so much for always being so awesome. Special thanks also to Adrian, who made sure we had a lovely dinner there. We were a little apprehensive to be there in the evenings as one of the bar staff (who may have been the evening bar manager) was quite rude to us and so we weren’t comfortable to go there. This was out of the ordinary and not the kind of courteous service we have always experienced and known at the Pullman. Thank you so much Adrian (and Georgia!) for restoring our faith and making sure we were really looked after. It was also great to see a sommelier in the restaurant – Toby was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our conversations with you. Vandro, at the bar, was amazing with his great service to us as well, and certainly made up for the other guy. The chefs are always awesome. On our previous visit, Sodhat (?), or I believe his nickname is ‘Diago’ came out to talk with us and looked after us like royalty. Thank you! Thank you also to Stella, who had just come on board the team. You made us feel very welcomed as well. And last but not least, the lovely Boman in the club lounge has always been the hospo star there – thank you so much dear Boman.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the room was spacious and had everything we needed. The staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Will definitely return as our go to spot to stay when in town!

There was nothing extraordinary about my stay, if anything the water tap in the toilet was broken, surely the cleaning crew would have noticed that already. Not even a complementary water bottle was provided which is quite unusual given that it wasn’t a cheap hotel! The bar next to the foyer closes at 11pm, so couldn’t even get a beer with a colleague at 11:15pm …. A little too early for a Friday evening in a major city such as Adelaide. The buffet breakfast was also quite basic and boring. Considering the money spent for a king superior bedroom, my whole experience at Pullman was quite underwhelming! Anyway, I only stayed there for 2 nights and that was enough.
