Friendly staff, great location, food in the restaurant was lovely. Very small and cold indoor pool. Rooms nice size especially as we had our dogs, but a bit dated.

Incident occurred during the night. Drunken guests banging on a door in the corridor during the night from 2:30 until about 4 am. Guest was agressive when we asked him to be quiet. No staff on duty overnight. Totally spoiled our Christmas Eve night and Christmas Day as we were so tired from not sleeping,

The hotel in its day must have been truly magnificent. Today, it's a little scruffy, a little bit rough and not quite what we expected. The staff were brilliant, helpful, understanding (of my very poor French speaking) and knowledgeable. The rooms, big and almost but not quite a little but dirty. Not so much as you'd complain, but enough to make you want to keep your shoes on and limit the time in the shower. The pool, looked great. But again little bit scruffy and not enticing close up. The spa (indoor pool and sauna) nice, but the pool looked quite opaque, like it had gone past its best. Breakfast was a good selection, the hot items looked cold and uncooked, so gave them a miss but a good selection of pastries and the cheese selection is a good as you would expect.

Depuis des années, nous sommes des clients fidèles des hôtels Accor (Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis). Avec la carte Silver, ma femme et moi avons toujours eu droit à un verre de bienvenue dans tous les hôtels, sauf cette fois au Mercure Saint-Nectaire (nous en avons également profité à d'autres occasions, dans le même hôtel). Je trouve inconsidéré qu'un couple en chambre double n'ait droit qu'à un verre. Cela peut paraître ridicule, mais c'est quand même inconsidéré
