A price that means you can only grumble so much for short one night stays but you wouldn’t want to be here much more than that. The bar and seating areas have been modernised well but that only serves to highlight quite how sad and under resourced the rooms are. The basics are all as sparse and possible and with this in mind it’s really only useful for a 1 night stop gap, perhaps if moving onto Toulouse later the next day. Montauban is worth a visit (especially place de Nationale) but I would advise staying elsewhere if it’s a city break or you are staying for more time. Breakfast was extremely slim on the choice so consider going out for it also. The fitness suite is reasonably well kitted out so this is a plus!
