The atrium was a beautiful oasis with so much of tropical vegetation luxuriantly grown and maintained. Vertical cascading creepers made it a very green habitat. We enjoyed our stay at Novotel at the esplanade and the facilities we received were extremely refreshing. It being facing the esplanade we found it convenient to go for a brisk walk enjoying the views of the Darwin harbour and the ocean beyond. The room was spacious with amenities we were wanting. The Esplanade restaurant with its seating in the atrium as well as alfresco, was an ideal spot to cool off with a smoothie or drinks after a walk in the warm weather.

Location was good, beds could do with replacing, carpets were not vacuum cleaned.
