When I first arrived at the hotel by taking tram no.4 from the main train station, I was a bit surprised and worried as it seems to be in nowhere and far away from the city centre. Yet, when I looked at google map for direction, I realized the hotel is just some 5 mins walk to the Altar Mainbrucke (medieval bridge) that is linked to the Wurzburg Altstadt. Basically, the hotel is well-located and accessible by foot to the key sightseeing areas. The room is also spacious and nicely decorated, and amenities are provided as well.

The situation with the parking is very disappointing. Apart of the fact that no pre-booking is available and in every entry one must check where there are avalable spots (outside or underground), it is crazy that for each exit the ticket must be validated at the reception EVERY TIME. Also the underground parking is the worst I have ever experienced.

The property is well located, but I was surprised that basic amenities like a toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided. It felt odd and disappointing, and because of this, I wouldn’t recommend it to my friends.

Ideal location and only a short walk from Würzburg HBF. Very friendly and pleasant staff. Although we arrived too early for check in, we were able to drop off our bags in secure storage to allow us to walk around the city.

Friendly staff, very helpful with car parking too. But I really dislike the policy of paying on check-in. I’m a business traveller so want minimise the number of receipts. They have my card details so what’s the risk? The lady on reception told me it is the decisions of the general manager, but it is very patronising to a loyal Accor customer like me. As a result I did no secondary spending at the hotel….no drinks, no breakfast.
