Shefford TripAdvisor review

Stayed here for one night, the rooms are small as you'd expect, but fine for 1-2 nights. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were clean and quiet. Plenty of room in the breakfast area, with the usual buffet. Parking in the underground car park is 7 euros for 24 hours. It's a short drive to the ferry port. On a Monday night, many restaurants in Le Havre are closed, so we walked along the Boulevard de Strasbourg towards the Hotel de Ville where we found a restaurant that was open. On the way back, after dark when it was very quiet, we were approached by a couple of guys wanting money, no harm done fortunately, but I would think twice about the location of the hotel. Somewhere nearer the Halles Centrales might be better as that is a busier area in the evenings.

We stayed here for a 2 night stopover on our way home. Good value accommodation. Rooms are compact but very clean and have ensuite bathrooms and great showers with plenty of water for people with long hair! There’s lots to choose from at breakfast - fresh pastries are continually put out. Good location for city centre and trams that will take you straight to the sea front in the evening. Staff friendly and helpful

Mouldy bathroom and dirty showers were more of a trickle Awful breakfast not much choice for our children either, Found the staff very rude and unapproachable and unapologetic- also No parking in allocated spaces that we had already paid for

3 out of 5. Bang average. Clean and somewhere to put your head down but that’s it really. Room wasn’t the quietest, separate toilet and bathroom, can’t swing a cat in the toilet Paid way over the odds for a pretty poor breakfast which was disappointing Smoking and ash tray at the entrance door was really smelly and disgusting There’s an Italian restaurant over at the shopping outlet in the docks. Avoid that even if recommended by the Ibis staff, it’s poor.

It’s have been a while since we stayed in a hotel so average. Starting from outside, one of the the walls was damaged, the paint was peeling. The room, ground floor, although seemed nice, the carpet on the floor was odd. The toilet was separate from the bathroom but it has no ventilation. I’ve took a shower and after the bathroom smelled strange and bad. Although we’ve booked a triple room, the single bed wasn’t made. The breakfast was very poor, we’ve hardly found something decent to eat. So, if you can find something else, try a better hotel, maybe in another city.
