I was attending my daughter's party in the hotel. Stayed 2 nights, helpful staff, comfortable room especially bed. good selection of food, including gluten free, for breakfast.

Very good rooms. The front desk staff was very receptive and helpful. The restaurant had live performances and was wonderful to wind down. The breakfast spread was good.

Good facilities, annoying issues

Traveller Solo - Confirmed reviews ALL

Clean nice rooms. Nice breakfast. Irritating not to have coffee in the rooms, only tea, for environmental reasons (though why tea sachets were okay is beyond me). Coffee is only available at the ground floor in a pump, and was lukewarm. There is a coffee machine with okay coffee at breakfast on ground floor but I was almost billed for it - I had to argue - when I served myself around 11/12 (‘lunch’ time, no longer ‘breakfast’) All in all I don’t need much but coffee is kinda expected at a 4*. I also didn’t appreciate the option of cleaning your own room so that the hotel donates the money instead to a charity, which was offered a little bit too strongly at checkin.
