We absolutely loved the Hotel, however, upon arrival, we discovered the pool was closed. Pedro said this should have been detailed on the webpage, but neither the webpage nor my confirmation specified that the pool was going to be closed. Furthermore, a check on both Booking.com and the Hotel's website on the day of our check in showed that the pool was open. That being said, Pedro was really understanding of our situation and was extremely helpful in assisting us with date modification, dinner reservation and itinerary updates. We all work in hospitality and were thoroughly impressed by his service and the way he went above and beyond to make our stay a good one.

Although it is advertised as a four-star hotel, the room amenities were at the level of a standard business hotel. There were no items such as body cream, a toothbrush, body towel, or bathrobe provided in the room. There was also no complimentary mineral water, which was disappointing. At Marriott group hotels, for example, complimentary mineral water is usually provided daily. Overall, I would have to say that the cost performance is poor.
