I travel quite often and have stayed at many IBIS hotels. They are usually a step above the B + B or Campanile, but definitely not this time. The hotel is located by the highway and is easy to get to. Unfortunately we were unhappy with out stay. The room was extremely hot and the air conditioning was not working. Apparently 'Not turned on yet' and although we opened the windows to cool off, we could only hear the traffic from the highway, so that was not an option. We had dinner at the restaurant which was quite full and only had one woman to work the whole floor. The waitress did very well, 'chapeau to her', but there is only so much a person can do when there are more than 50 people waiting for dinner, drinks, checks etc...

The room smells musty. Better to skip the climate because the stench intensifies. ventilation apparently only takes place by guests. last visit 8 or 9 years ago, since then nothing has changed in the rooms in terms of color or furniture. only the lobby and the restaurant area is apparently more recent as it was moved from one building to another. Restaurant staff was hopelessly overwhelmed when we were there. So they tried several times to get rid of drinks ordered by other guests from us but wanted to get rid of our ordered food from the other guests when we then tried to make it clear to the waitress that we had ordered it, it almost failed due to language difficulties (besides my mother tongue German, I can still speak English and Spanish only no French) the service but only French. the only person who could speak English was at the front desk. Sadly for a hotel chain like Accor.

Regarding the smell encountered in your room, we are trying in vain to combat this problem which will be resolved as soon as possible. We may not have done a renovation but we changed our bedding and we hope you had a good night's sleep thanks to it. Nowadays, we can find a lot of ways to succeed in communicating in foreign languages, we are sorry that we could not have remedied that. The staff is friendly. What was below our expectations for an IBIS hotel were the following items: - The room didn't smell fresh. While it is a non smoking room it had a smell in it. Not sure what is the cause of the smell. - From the outside it looks like the hotel can have a touchup. Normally we see a nice bright red logo. In this case the logo wasn't that bright (anymore).

The hotel has good parking facilities and is easy to locate. The reception was friendly and helpful which is always nice. The room was clean and well prepared and overlooked the swimming pool area. Dinner at the hotel was also very good with a nice menu and friendly staff. Overall an excellent stopover.

The Ibis was great. The reception was bright and staff friendly, the rooms large enough and well laid out. All we saw was clean and tidy. Although close to the motorway we did not hear the traffic. We did not manage to use the pool on this occasion, but after a long day in the car it looked really inviting. The covered walk way from the hotel block to the restaurant was a good idea. The restaurant had a good menu and breakfast was very, very impressive and there was a variety of dishes and plenty to eat and drink..Only a 5 minute drive from the Autoroute this is an excellent hotel to use as a stop over or one to explore the area.

Have stayed here overnight several times and is always excellent. Restaurant of very good standard and has very comfortable ambience. Hotel itself handily located and easy to find. Rooms are fairly basic but perfectly adequate and clean. Staff very attentive (particularly on this occasion when my partner managed to leave something behind and they were very efficient in contacting me about it).

Lovely hotel, sadly lacking. Very expensive evening meal, beer at 6 euros a pint, almost no choice at breakfast, and only one extra pillow available. Room far too warm despite turning the "air conditioning" to minimum and the fan to full. Couldn't open the door/window due to traffic noise! Very disappointed as Ibis hotels are generally very good. Had to search for staff to check in, and wait a very long time to be served at the meal. The breakfast items ran out very quickly, and there was no staff available to replenish it.

The hotel is about 15 km away from the city, and borders on a busy RN. On the back is the motorway. But the rooms are very well protected from outside noise, food is good, and all the essentials are there. The hotel is a little older, but well maintained.
