This hotel definitely has lots of benefits. 1. The staff are excellent, very hospitable welcoming and friendly both on reception and in the restaurant. 2. It has Tesla Superchargers which was actually my main motivation for booking here. 3. The food in the restaurant was excellent and great services. 4. There is a nice pool area and outside space with sun loungers and grass. 5. It’s dog friendly and easily located for the motorway. So lots of good reasons to book HOWEVER…..reasons not to… 1. The rooms are TERRIBLE! If you want to sleep and that’s more important than the above do NOT book this hotel. Particularly in the summer! When I entered my room 114 if you want to note it, and switched on the light a cockroach ran under the bed! It’s on the ground floor and hot so to be expected to a point so checked around couldn’t see any more so decided to stay having walked all that way with my bags. 2. The SEVERE HEAT! The Aircon does NOT work and the rooms are very very hot!! Making it impossible to sleep. There are no fans in the rooms 3. The noise - because it is far too hot to sleep you have to open the windows! This is a safety issue as it’s ground floor but I’m a man, for a lone woman it would be scary. This lets in some cool air but means all you can hear is constant traffic noise!! My nights sleep was so very bad due to overheating and loud noise I checked out at 5am!!! My advice come to charge, to come dine come to swim even - BUT do not come here and expect to sleep!

However, we are sincerely sorry that your room experience did not live up to your expectations, particularly regarding the temperature and the incident you encountered. Regarding the insects, we would like to clarify that these were not cockroaches, but wood bugs, harmless insects that can unfortunately enter buildings at this time of year. However, we have strengthened our measures to prevent this from happening again. Regarding the air conditioning, we had temporarily disabled the system due to the drop in temperatures in early September. However, we restarted the air conditioning on Friday morning. We are aware of the impact this may have had on your comfort and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Your feedback on noise and ventilation is very valuable, and we will evaluate solutions to improve this point, especially for rooms located on the ground floor. We hope that you will give us another chance to welcome you in better conditions. Thank you again for your constructive feedback. We do everything possible to make each stay a pleasant experience.
