As always we happy with Ibis good beds clean well dressed rooms. Ibis always first go too hotel. Cant mark higher for french ibis as no tea or coffee making facilities in room.

What I found in this hotel has nothing to do with what you expect for a three star hotel. The rooms and the whole hotel were dirty, smelling very bad and even the blankets were brown from all the dirt that hadn't been clean. The towels where old and small. A very bad experience. Even more, I had to call back because they charged my the room twice, how ironic. As I said, I would never expect this hotel to be a three star hotel, in my opinion it just deserve one.

The hotel was in easy access for the city of Valence and the major road networks. Staff were very friendly and professional. We had an evening meal and the food was excellent.

The hotel was what I expect from Ibis - clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant was different from most Ibis hotels i’ve Stayed in....supposedly more ‘up market’, and certainly more expensive. I ordered a Burger - well done- as i am unable to eat rare meat. The burger was served raw. The waitress agreed and took it back. It came back after a very short time and was still raw. The manageress agreed but still made me pay for it giving me only a 10% discount. I was treated with utter contempt by the chef and the management obviously could not care less.

the staff was really friendly. we had a bit of trouble as we arrived because at first we got a room without a bed for the kids, even if i booked it. after we moved at the second room the key didn't work so i had to go back down to the lobby the second time. the girl at the front desk was really friendly! the pool was ice and big but there were leaves from the tree inside and the pool toys needed a bit of air to get totally popped up again. all in and all the hotel was nice but here and there they could be a little bit more attention for the "little things". :)

At first the desk clerk wanted to put us in a room on the first floor of the hotel annex. The annex doesn’t have an elevator and I said that wouldn’t do. He put us in another room which was fine.

Clean and spacious room, but no kettle!

It was fine, but for the same price, the Novotel give you a kettle and tea/coffee making things. Being in a separate building meant having to take our thermos flask to the main one to ask for hot water, which the staff were happy to do, but it was inconvenient.
