Convenient location, with the added bonus of an EV charging station next door. Room was small but that's ok, the main issue was that it was unbearably hot. We asked reception if the aircon could be activated, and we're told that it wasn't normally on at this time of the year but they would check with the technical team. Upon checking later, we were told that the feedback was it would not be turned on. Very disappointing, as we would have hoped guests comfort was a priority. We had to keep the window upon but there was music outside during the night so we had to close it and boil instead. One of the worst hotel night I've had in many years unfortunately.

However, we are truly sorry to read that your stay was impacted by the temperature in your room. We sincerely regret that the air conditioning could not be activated during your stay and understand how uncomfortable this must have been for you, especially at night. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the noise outside when you had to keep the window open. Rooms too small for the Mercure formula. Should be relabeled into Ibis.

Could not get a pre dinner drink
