Could not get a pre dinner drink

I am sincerely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly due to insufficient staffing during your visit and the inability to obtain an aperitif before dinner. Disappointed with the allocated room.Compared to the previous stay, the room was substandard. We only booked a return journey at this hotel because we felt it offered a high standard of facilities that we experienced previously. However staff were great.

My notes for the booking request were not followed, of high floor away from lift, as I was placed on the first floor and near the lift. That room did not have a desk as per the photos of that room type. The staff kindly changed my room for the next night. Inconviently there were no electric car charge points at the hotel.
