On arrival our first impression was of an elegant well appointed hotel full of art and graced by smiling helpful staff. When we left we were confused as to why such a find disappointed us with a dreadful food offering. It was frankly awful. My wife declared that her chicken Caesar salad was overwhelming and tasteless, whilst my fried fish was a soggy mass that contained the smallest amount of fish I have ever known in such a dish. And it too was utterly tasteless . So was the haricot vert, so was the mayo offered as a replacement for the traditional sauce tartare. Both dishes were served so quickly that we suspected that they were prepared in some instant kitchen. As a result we decided not to have breakfast, preferring coffee and croissants over the road.

Lovely staff, ok rooms, but really disappointing selection and food quality in the restaurant. The cheapest bottle of wine is €35, which is crazy.
