The hotel was located well near the centre. The parking cost € 9,99 per night and does not offer a place to charge an electrical vehicle. Nearest available sport was a 900 meter walk. The room was clean and large enough. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were a tad hard. The rainshower worked well, though most of the bathroom ended up wet. The airconditioning was not able to keep the temperature low; outside temperature was 33 degrees celsius. The breakfast good. Wide variety of dishes. The advertised gym was an extremely small room on the ground floor. In fact smaller than the hotelroom itself. It consisted of an elliptical that was defect and a treadmill that had no key. There were no free weights, resistance machines or even a bench. Profuse apologies were made by the receptionists and by mail by the director. However, boasting to have a gym and offering two non-functioning machines in a very small room does not qualify as a gym. Even after writing an email no real compensation was offered - I was offered a discount on return to Montelimar, which will not likely be the case.

Great welcome from your receptionist as usual. Football viewing first on TV then leisurely walk to town restaurants. Then excellent sleep in your comfortable beds. Superb and plentiful breakfast next morning before our trip up north to Troyes

This Ibis Style hotel delivered above expectations. That doesn’t mean they try to be something they’re not supposed to be. They actually just exceeded on all levels where they should be especially in service, kindness, as well as product that elevated the experience, but not moving away from an economy hotel.

Very professional staff at reception desk with good knowledge of English which will be a great asset when many Anglo Saxon guests book in when the season gets going. Excellent and plentiful breakfast which we also enjoyed.
