Poor experience. We waited to check-in for almost 8-10 mins while three of your staff tried to resolve one customer’s issue who had enough to say about the place. There was no bed sheet on the bed so we requested it and made the bed. Bar was nice downstairs. Breakfast was ok but not even close to French Standards. Dish quality and coffee is not standard and fluctuated quite a bit. Server on day two did not even give butter (we had to find someone else to ask) for the bread and never came back to check on food after the order. Overall, staff is lazy here. We had lowered our expectations after the check in experience. Likely the longest we have waited in 15-20 years.

Very impressed with the entire experience. The room upgrade was amazing and the brunch buffet was probably the best we’ve had. Will definitely stay again if er ever visit Philly again.

I was spoiled the second I got there. Muhammad took care of my luggage and set things up for me. The housekeepers were so kind and they spoiled me bad!!! My room was always clean and they gave me water and fresh towels and coffee. When I ordered wine, it was brought up quickly with great chatting!! The location is also a plus! I can’t wait to return!!

We've previously stayed at other Sofitel locations, including Beverly Hills, and have been very satisfied. This location is poorly run and, aside from the lobby, is in poor condition. There was visible food and other filth on the hallway floors which appeared to not be vacuumed during our four day stay. Our room was also visibly dirty, had stained window drapes, torn bedding, and mold growing in the shower. Breakfast each morning was run chaotically, and on the last day we were yelled at by a very rude employee for filling our own coffee cups as the complementary coffee in the lobby was empty for a second day. Additionally, the valet took about 45 minutes to one hour to retrieve our car despite giving them a 30 minute heads up. On our last night, the valet was so backed up we ultimately parked our car at a parking garage down the street. The inconsistency among Sofitel locations is startling and disappointing.
