We had a very large suite, but unfortunately the air conditioning did not cool the room adequately. The suite was uncomfortably warm, especially at night. There was only one relatively small air vent for such a large space, which did not seem sufficient. I brought the issue to the staff's attention, but they insisted the thermostat showed the room was 70 degrees. However, the thermostat is located directly beneath the air vent, so it was reading the cooler air coming from the vent rather than the actual temperature throughout the suite. As a result, the displayed temperature did not accurately reflect how warm the room really was.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fairmont Washington D.C., Georgetown. From the moment I arrived, every member of the team made me feel genuinely welcomed, and the level of hospitality throughout my stay was exceptional. I stayed in a Fairmont Gold room, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations. The room was beautifully appointed, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and enjoy a staycation in the city. The Fairmont Gold experience was a standout, with attentive service and access to the lounge, which made the stay feel even more elevated. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the incredible dining. The in-room brunch was delicious and beautifully presented, and I also loved spending time enjoying drinks and bites in the Courtyard. Every meal was thoughtfully prepared, and the service was consistently warm, attentive, and professional. What made this stay so memorable, though, was the people. Every interaction—from valet to the front desk, the restaurant team, and the Fairmont Gold staff—was met with genuine kindness and impeccable service. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure I felt taken care of, and it truly made the experience feel special. Whether you're visiting Washington, D.C. or simply looking for a luxurious staycation, I can't recommend Fairmont Washington D.C., Georgetown enough. The combination of beautiful accommodations, outstanding dining, and world-class hospitality made for an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to return!

(I'm sorry, but I've forgotten names.) The staff at the hotel really took the edge off a nasty travel day for me when I got in. Check-in was expedient and considerate, and the waitstaff at the Juniper restaurant were friendly and attentive. The morning of 7/15, I had to figure out a way to clean off a black dress shirt that my dog had shed all over without me realizing; the attendant in the Gold level lounge actually lent me a hairbrush with a lint roller to help me out -- I was so appreciative of that effort! Everyone - the bellmen, the concierge, the front desk staff, the conference staff (servers, cooks, managers) - was so incredibly professional and considerate. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont and the staff are the primary reason why.
