Teresa D Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

Very clean, comfortable, large room, large bathroom. Very quiet, with all the amenities and services needed. Would recommend . I was attending a summit visit to Congress so we had access to meeting rooms which were convenient and were able to dine together and also enjoyed the bar area for cocktails. Kind staff. Truly enjoyed my stay.

Hotel is nice and clean. Front desk staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Bar staff is also great...fun to talk with, good at mixing drinks, and able to give some insider tips on where to get great food in the City. the housekeeping staff left a bit to be desired. Water was not replenished, neither was coffee, sugar, creamer. the bathtub drain was shut so tight that I was unable to open it and therefore unable to take a shower on my last day at the hotel.

Arrived late thanks to delayed flight but check in was smooth and fast. Room was very spacious and beds were vey comfortable ! Hotel and room were very clean, room service was excellent and ambiance in bar in lobby was great. Definitely recommend this hotel and will be back !

I have had the privilege to experience Fairmont Gold in many hotels - but none compare to DC. The kindness, the attention to detail and the diligence of the staff are unparalleled. It was around our anniversary, and the team prepared a wonderful treat for us - knowing we were engaged in Paris, they prepared an amazing Paris themed gift for us one night when we returned to our room! An Eiffel Tower, chocolates and champagne! Magnifique! Merci Moussa and the wonderful Gold Team...
