It is always a pleasure to walk into the lobby of the Sofitel, because I know I will feel the welcomed into the hotel's intimate and luxurious environment. I was delighted on this visit to receive one of the true benefits of membership, the early availability of a hotel room! I cannot tell you how wonderful this is, after a 4:00am wake-up, a trip through a crowded airport, and an early, sold out flight, to enter the quiet and elegance of the Sofitel, and be able to go up to my room, hang up my clothes, and take a few minutes before launching back into the business and meetings of the day.

Didn’t have a working television for 2 out of 3 nights.

First stay at Sofitel. Family of 4. Hotel is marketed as a 5-star but does not really feel like it. We had an issue at check-in for which we were gratefully compensated for with a room upgrade, and another issue for which we were got a comped dinner. I must say that management is very proactive (kudos to AJ) and the staff is mostly professional and pleasant. Food at the Opaline was excellent, but ambiance and service could be improved (again by 5-star standards). I am more than happy to book at Sofitel again for a future business trip, but will look at a hotel with more amenities for vacation. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
