Should have got early check in so I could have enjoyed my room more. Older room, but clean and comfortable and all you could as for for a single night stay.

What an amazing experience this was stay here for my two night stay in Washington DC. The room was a nice size, set up well with all the amenities you would ever need in a hotel. The room was immaculate, bed comfortable, towels and robe plush, a bottle of water was left by your bed side and the staff was top notch. We enjoyed dinner at their restaurant which was delicious. Fresh coffee hit the spot. Loved the little areas set up off the lobby with cozy chairs and books to read. Each staff member took pride in their job and was always helpful. I hope to enjoy another visit to this venue when back in DC.

we discovered we left behind an expensive item in our hotel room within a few hours of checking out of our room. we were instructed to email the housekeeping about our lost item. What is really disappointing is the fact that they didn't respond to our email. We have a tracking on our item so we know it was still in the room. Buyer beware

For such prime location I would expect a higher standard. Only thing high where prices, service food and drinks not available between 11am and 4pm. Bar area wasn't great, noisy and closing early evening. Rooms where okay, but generally see better ones under Sofitel brand.
