The room was spacious and clean. After a long day of travel and arriving to the hotel after midnight, I was looking forward to a beverage from the mini bar alas, there was no mini-bar. I know they are a lot of upkeep to manage, but that's a big missed revenue opportunity. Also, there were no USB outlets that worked in my room but there were plenty of obsolete outlets. Grateful for the bathrobe and magnifying mirror, but an updated charging post would be very much appreciated. Also I appreciated the tea kettle in addition to the coffee maker. Gym was fantastic.

Stayed 2 nights for a business event. The hotel is well appointed and kept up with the times. Starbucks within the lobby, Fairmont is also surrounded by a variety of entertainment (theaters) and lots of meal choices. It is also located around the newly revamped Market Place.

The location was fantastic!!! The staff was super friendly at both reception and in the restaurant. The rooms were clean and comfortable but they need a bit of an update. Some of the furniture was a bit banged up. The walls were fairly thin so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. We had a family next door and could hear the baby crying through the wall even once during the middle of the night. Not the baby’s fault 😊 but you should bring earplugs.

There was a mis-understanding with my assistant who booked the room outside of PNC policy given the high room rate. As a result, I will not be reimbursed for this business expense and must pay personally. The total bill for one night was in excess of $800. I asked if anything could be done to provide some discount given my loyalty to the Fairmont and many stays. Business manager declined to make any concessions.

Room was very nice, view was the bare minimum of a river view. Mattress and pillows could have been softer and the box spring shows wear on the sides of the bed. Location was good but the homeless lining the streets were a turn off.
