Every year we come to Pittsburgh, we are excited for our stays at the Fairmont. This is our first trip since Covid, and the caliber of service has not changed. Alex has to be one of the best staff here. Not only does he greet each guest with a friendly smile but his recommendations for places to go are spot on. He will tell you all the local hidden spots and restaurant gems. Having staff that treat you with such friendliness, respect and a desire to ensure your happiness, is always a breath of fresh air in today’s day and age. Alex, thanks for making this trip extra special for me and my aunt.

Overall the hotel was very clean. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms were well equipped with essentials and free coffee. The location was very convenient to everything downtown. Many restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

Bad neighborhood. Nice hotel. Staff was mediocre.

Arrived late Thursday. Could not quite understand desk person. There was no info on the hotel in the room. According to staff the TV had not been refreshed so that the info on the restaurant and lounge was not accurate. The coffee in room had not been replenished. There was only one coffee cup. The Kleenex in the bathroom ran out. It was difficult to get WIFI. On one occasion the glasses in the bathroom and coffee station were dirty. No bag for ice bucket. Fitness center and staff was superb!
