Room not cleaned prior to arrival. Dirty bathroom. I can provide pictures for management if required. The sink had (pubic) hair, and the toilet had drip spills/spots (not water), room seemed not vacuumed. Will be contacting the hotel directly as i paid too much for this kind of service and have never had issues with any of our all accor stays. The hotel contacted us prior to not of works being carried out, but could not advise timings or whether it would affect guests sleeping. It went through the night so communication upfront could have been more defined to state will definitely affect your stay, but having the hotel past security still trumped the discomfort of the noise.

Booking information needs to inform guest EXACTLY how to arrive at hotel, i.e., by scanning next day boarding card and going through security. That is not intuitive

After a long 15hr+ flight, the staff was gracious, extremely accommodating, understanding, and courteous. The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet. The courtesy wake-up call was prompt. Amber, the manager, is an expert professional. I would definitely return again when transiting through AMS.

Mercure staff was excellent - our flight was delayed by almost two hours and we arrived at 3:30 am. The attendant was helpful and sympathetic. The room was good - not too small (or too big). We slept well. The only problem was difficulty finding the hotel - few wayfaring signs in the airport and the 'passport' area was very confusing. Not the hotel's fault but we'd suggest management work with the airport to make navigation easier.

We had an overnight layover at Schiphol and found this hotel extremely convenient for spending the night comfortably without having to leave the terminal. It was very clean, shower worked great and the bed was very comfortable. The best part was not losing any time with leaving the terminal and having to go through security in the morning. I highly recommend it for this situation.

It was a perfect resting spot for the long layover. Arriving in Amsterdam at 12:30 AM catching the next flight at 10:45 AM. Was quickly able to clear passport control and get a good nights rest for the next day

The young lady at the reception was very rude and made my stay very unpleasant. I will never return to this hotel again. When I told her that I would report her behavior, she covered her name tag and refused to provide her name. Another member of the hotel cleaning staff referred to her as "Sui." I was a frequent visitor to this hotel, so I knew many of the other staff members, who were always polite, friendly, and helpful with any inquiries. However, the young lady named "Sui" was absolutely the worst hotel employee I have ever met. She caused a great deal of stress during my stay, which is why I will never recommend this hotel to others.
