There are dozens of currencies in use all over Asia so the exact one you need would depend on which country you are in. If you choose to stay in Vietnam, for instance, you would use the Dong, while in Thailand it is the Baht and China the Yuan. Many countries will accept US Dollars as well as their own currency like Cambodia but you should check this out country by country before you leave.,Again this will vary from country to country depending on slight changes in rainy seasons, if there are any festivals or celebrations you want to see and experience, or if you are looking for the best value. Outside of peak seasons you may find some great prices on things like flights and your hotel stay. However, it may be a bit damp or colder than you would like, so that is also worth considering.
