We loved our room. It had a washer /dryer right in our room. Very convenient. Our room was a decent size for Japan. Hooks and hangers available for clothing. Luggage rack for our suitcase. The toilet with the bidet had its own room. The shower and bathtub were in another room and the sink area was in the main area. Though we found this unusual it was very efficient. The staff were great. Location was close to Dotonbori but about 19 minutes from nearest station.

Location is good. However the service is not up to Mercure standard. 1. When I arrived at 8:00 a.m. to drop off my luggage, the receptionist was noticeably lacking in politeness—not only without a smile, but also speaking in a rather sarcastic tone. This is not my first time staying at a hotel under this group, but this experience was even worse than ibis budget. 2. As a Gold member, I did not receive an upgrade or early check-in. However, one day before check-in, I specifically requested a quieter room, but was instead assigned the first room next to the elevator. The noise from other guests walking by constantly disturbed me. 3. The window soundproofing was also poor. I recorded a short video showing that around 10 p.m., I could clearly hear traffic noise from outside. 4. I booked a triple room, yet all the amenities provided were only for two people, including toothbrushes, slippers, and cups. I had to request the remaining set from the staff, which was quite inconvenient.

I asked of i can have my room changed today in the morning. Front desk they would take care of it when I return. When I returned in the evening, different front desk has no clue and says to come back next day. I would have to stay in my 1719 room again. Disappointed on the service and lack of attendance on both front desks

Only stayed for two days and regret not staying a third. The staff and service were fantastic. The hotel has a unique feel and stylish design which enhanced our stay. Additionally, our room was upgraded, which was a wonderful surprise. My only feedback would be that the lighting in the bathroom is very dim, making it difficult to shave with precision (I’m a male). Other than that, I truly enjoyed my stay - would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family!

The hotel is low key but suited our needs perfectly. We stayed in A. corner deluxe twin room a. had plenty of space, with one of the best bathrooms we’ve had. The washing machine in the room was excellent, especially after hours of walking around in very hot a. humid conditions. The staff were very polite a. helpful in all areas. The bed was very comfortable, lifts were fast a. quiet a. the perfect location. The downside was that the room has low level off white lighting so not great for applying makeup. Whilst it was bright during the day with the blinds up, the bathroom a. full length mirror were not near the windows. Would definitely stay there again.

Check in was frustrating. My Debit card has worked all over the world and every other location within Japan. Only place it didn't work was at the front desk of this hotel. Had to go and get cash but daily limit on ATM meant had to do it over two days. Room was dark. Not enough lighting. In fact the whole hotel is dark. Not sure what the reason is. It's a great hotel, just dark. Only one English speaking TV channel which is Fox News USA. For an international hotel chain with many overseas travellers I would have thought some more options would be available.
