Stayed 2 nights, 2 rooms. Liked : the modernized Instagram worthy displays throughout the hotel . Liked: reception friendly approach , acknowledging my Accor Gold status as well , with some welcome amenity . Liked : my room although small in size comes with comfortable beds , generous amenities, separate toilet from shower, washing machine, microwave and most of all , the smart Tv option . However, no Nespresso machine and ice dispenser located in the 2nd level Much loved: location near convenience stores and of course the shopping and dining district which are a few blocks away. Disliked : it was a rather dim environment in many areas. Disliked : they don’t have enough dining spaces , so coming up a little late, you eat at a table as if you’re having cocktails or welcome drinks. BUT the breakfast spread was ok. Disliked : deluxe room afforded provided views of the nearby building . Lastly , there was no available bell or porter service, so guests bring their own luggages. Good thing they can provide storage.

Rude treatment (Being shouted) at breakfast.

I'm an Accor Gold member (Female) and took my family to Osaka for a trip (Dec 26-29 2025). So we decided to stay here. Our reservation included breakfast at Centre M. On the last day there, we had an early trip to another city so I had breakfast at 6:50 am. I was sitting alone in the breakfast room with 2 other parties since it's early in the morning. I accidentally took an extra breakfast ticket so I thought of calling my dad and letting him know about it. After 2 seconds of call, the male host (mid 40s?) shouted at me. Not an excuse about his english limitations but his exact word was "Go out (while pointing to the exit while I was eating and shouted at me), this is Japan culture and do not call here". There are lots of pointing and hand gesture and very harsh tone. I understand that what I did about calling on a dining place is wrong now. But I'm also a tourist and it's a very quiet breakfast hall (2 other parties at 6 am). I am sitting alone as an asian female speaking mandarin dialect. I dont know if this is racism or secism but I am very disappointed and hurt by this experience. He could have just let me know in a good tone and I would have ended the call straight away. Very terrible and traumatising experience. I will NOT come back here.

A good hotel, but consider location

I understand the reviews referring to the darkness of the rooms etc, but we didn’t find this a problem at all. There was a lack of light, but not excessive. The breakfast room got really over run and I can understand why, despite the substandard western breakfast options, as there is a real lack of alternatives. We searched and searched for a breakfast option that wasn’t sweet and literally didn’t find anything. One day we queued for 50 mins for pancakes and once sat were advised it would be another 50 minute wait for food. My suggestion is to find a hotel with a good eat in breakfast option, which isn’t this hotel. There were also very noisy cars close by at night which for the first few nights was waking me up constantly. This would be the case for many hotels close by. If you want to stay in this area, then this hotel is great. The rooms were larger and we had three rooms. Not for us to stay again, but it’s ok.

Great location, stylish, great service, good amenities

Only stayed for two days and regret not staying a third. The staff and service were fantastic. The hotel has a unique feel and stylish design which enhanced our stay. Additionally, our room was upgraded, which was a wonderful surprise. My only feedback would be that the lighting in the bathroom is very dim, making it difficult to shave with precision (I’m a male). Other than that, I truly enjoyed my stay - would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family!

This hotel is great if you want to take nice Instagram photos - it has a swanky foyer and flashy interior design. For everything else, it is very average. The biggest peeve is the lack of lighting. You come out of the lift on your floor, and your first thought is, "Is this really a hotel, or is it one of those 'love hotels'? " Seriously, I have seen gay saunas with more lighting than this hotel has. I had trouble finding my way back to the lift because I just couldn't see anything. I hope they never have to have a fire evacuation - people would be hopelessly lost in an emergency. The rooms are not much better - I think there were two pretty dim lights in the whole room. To give you an example, for a couple of days I was astonished that there was no powerpoint in the tea-making area. On Day 3 I actually found the powerpoint there - I just couldn't see it before because the room was so dark. Storage space in the room was equally impractical - there wasn't much storage available, but instead there were some interior design features that served no practical purpose. The interior designers must have been paid a motza to create the most useless hotel rooms I've ever come across. On the positive side, the location is a definite 5* - it's a short stroll from Dotonbori with its hundreds of restaurants. Still, in my view, even with the perfect location, the hotel only deserves a 3* overall rating.
