Overall not good. Thw rooms are cramped and storage extremely limited. Cleaning doesnt come, even when "clean room" light it on. Pool is super small. Electronics in room are faulty. Turning the AC fan up turns all the lights on. The breakfast buffet is great. The style and location of the hotel is lovely. Hotel wouldn't give me same deal booking.com gave, even though I'm an Allcor member.

Great facilities, lovely rooms, great food. Two minor problems though: Service at the Enchante restaurant varied from very good to abysmal. Definitely soom room for improvement. Second, there was no clear single point of contact for the transportation service. This led to some miscommunication and frustratingly long waits for pickup.

I really enjoyed my stay at Gem Forest. I thought the rooms were a good size with great bathrooms and nicely decorated. Staff were well trained and welcoming. My only quibbles as a business traveller was that there was no proper desk space and my MacBook couldn't connect to the internet until the address was whitelisted so it would be good to do that upfront when travellers arrive or warn in advance. However, the technician did sort it out eventually on a Sunday which was impressive. Other feedback I'd give is that there are two restaurants - Indian and Greek - with great food but the food in the first floor one (Spanish/European) was disappointingly bland. My other feedback is about the pool. It's a good size but overheated, which is environmentally unfriendly, and doesn't open when advertised.

Room was cosy. The scent in the corridor and the hotel overall was awesome.It had a distinct smell that only an Mgallery would. The Troy bar especially at happy hour was amazing. The view of the city and Karura forest was out of this world. The music was perfect and I found myself humming to majority of the songs. It felt amazing after a long day of business.
