The aparthotel was easy to find & get to on the transport system. It was such a friendly welcome & warm. Large comfortable rooms with all the facilities you could need. Clean and well looked after. Just a really nice overall stay. Compared to the prices in the rest of Amsterdam for marathon weekend it was much much cheaper so I was worried it would be bad but it was excellent & I was so pleased with the value. The breakfast was super too & it was great to have that included & at long hours making it really accessible

The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The view of the apartment we got was beautiful - overwatching a canal and a green park. The staff successfully aided us in everything we asked for (e.g. Kosher breakfast, help during Shabbat). In addition, getting to and from the city center was a breeze with the tram, so even though the hotel's location is not a 'touristic' one, it was excellent. All in all, very recommended stay!

Upon check-in, we were allocated a room on the 7th floor. Shortly after I noticed a bed bug under the sofa cushion. We immediately vacated the room and raised this with the receptionist, who apologised and initially offered bug spray to deter them!! I requested a room change which was provided on the 5th floor. I of course checked under the sofa cushions and could see another bedbug!! This indicates a severe hygiene problem, bugs were in both rooms on different floors. I immediately contacted Accor head office to be rebooked elsewhere for which I was told that I would need to do this myself. I then went straight to the reception desk to inform them I would be checking out. The lady informed me that she was not able to refund me on the spot and that the manager would contact me when she was in the following morning. I never received any correspondence from the hotel the following morning. Instead (3 whole days later) I received a reply to the case I raised with head office which stated that there were no bedbugs! (Of course no detail was provided regarding an official inspection/report/evidence). I have since been told a refund is coming, but no compensation has been offered to cover the price difference of the alternative hotel I had to book on the day. This is particularly disappointing and I will be continuing to pursue this matter. I have pictures and videos showing evidence of the bugs in both rooms. Which I don’t believe I can upload here, but will be on Google. Please stay away from this hotel. This had ruined our trip to Amsterdam of what was supposed to be a romantic weekend, now turned into coming home early to deep clean our belongings. Both the cleanliness of the room and the handling of this complaint is simply unacceptable. Particularly given the amount of money we have spent with Accor over the years as a platinum member we expected better.

The location of the hotel is perfect, few minutes walking from the tram stop. Also the neighbourhood is nice and quiet. I booked a junior 1 bed apartment, which was huge. I had too main concerns with the hotel 1. The property page contains 2 bars/restaurants but none of them exist. A hamburger place is the only available option with a very simple menu. 2. The the cleanliness of the room, the sofa fabric was stained in many places; its beautiful armrest was, too. The parquet flooring was broken in. Additionally the room service is not included into the price, maybe I missed it when I selected the hotel, but I never stayed similar hotel yet.

We stayed with a baby for three nights. We were provided a baby bed and a high chair, and the apartment worked well for us. Only less positive feedback would be that our room didn’t feel completely clean. We had to wipe up a spill (of our own making) on day 1, and in cleaning the floor with a wet rag there was a coating of dirt on the rag. Also a few surfaces that definitely hadn’t been “glove checked” lately and a not-gone dried up puke stain next to the bed. The bed was also clearly worn and older. Comfy though!

t was a very disappointing experience, as the hotel Wi-Fi was not functioning properly throughout my stay. Apartment and location perfect however another couple was given a key to our Apartment. I subsequently felt unsafe and uncertain there would be a repeat. My ast night wasn't as relaxed as it should have been.

The accommodation itself was comfortable, well-equipped, and overall the facilities were quite good. Unfortunately, the service and staff experience significantly affected our stay. Whether you stay for one day or six days, you receive the same amount of complimentary amenities. We stayed for four days and received only four coffee capsules—the same amount provided for a one-day stay. When we asked for more, we were told that additional capsules would be charged. Towels were not changed during the stay, nor was a change proactively offered. Only when we specifically asked about it were we offered fresh towels. There was also no soap in the bathroom when we arrived. The biggest issue, however, was the staff. They seemed uninterested and unwelcoming, almost as if our presence was an inconvenience to them. The overall attitude was surprisingly indifferent, which made for a rather strange experience. It’s a shame because the property itself is comfortable, modern, and very well equipped. With more attentive and welcoming staff and better basic service, this could be a very good place to stay.

The stay was a plan “B” after our boat cruise to Basel didn’t happen. The Aparthotel allows guests the flexibility to do their own catering should they choose in a well appointed hotel. We will be staying in other similar facilities in Europe as our trip unfolds.

I’m here practically every week, I have been in all the rooms. Either there’s a slight problem with the shower, or one of the bar chairs is broken, or the dishes are incomplete, etc... so it’s "equal" to expectations, but no more. However, the staff are very good.

The apartment needs some improvements, particularly when it comes to the furniture. The cleaning was not done properly: there were several large cobwebs, even next to the bedside table; the carpet had not been vacuumed; the kitchen countertop was dirty; and the walls had large dirty marks on them. There were also hairs from previous guests in the shower, and the shower head had mold on it. The only real downside of our stay was the poor level of cleanliness. Considering how much we paid, I expected better conditions. The upholstery on the bed was torn, which made the apartment feel poorly maintained. On the positive side, I appreciated how quiet the room was and the fact that we could change the towels whenever we wanted.
