While the grounds, room and staff were all amazing, the food was pretty terrible. Being in such a remote location with no other food options local to the area, you need to be better with the food options and quality. Many options on the menu were not available, and majority of what we ordered was definitely not up to scratch for a hotel with such a great reputation. And we couldn’t even get a fresh coconut….the cheapest and most abundant thing in the whole of Bali, and they don’t have any. Overall, very disappointed.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had 3 rooms booked. Pros: Quite Location with excellent infinity pool overlooking a forest area. Room sizes are decent - neither too big or small. Challenges: Seemed understaffed, Location is quite away about 40 mins from Central Ubud (might be a con for some), Breakfast spread was very limited, Timings for kids area, pool area etc are limited. Not much in-house activity options. Only single restaurant was operational. Did not find it value for money in the current scenario.
