I really love this hotel! The surroundings are beautiful, the views are breathtaking, and the room is very comfortable and well-maintained. Am a diamond member:. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Biggest issue I had was from the start with airport transfers. They were 1 hour late. And provided no emails or updates. I had to ask the Novotel contact at the airport to call the hotel and even there contact person thought the service was poor. When the driver finally came to pick us up, they were casually eating their breakfast at the pick up area even though they were late so we had to wait for them to finish. Not a good first impression. When you spend 3 times the amount for the service you expect good service. No discount was offered for this poor service. Also, they still have not credited any points for my status. These things are frustrating when not followed up by there team.

The room was very new, clean and comfortable. However, it would be better if the toothpaste wasn't in paper packaging. The breakfast choices and quality could also be improved—the restaurant standard was quite average.

Trying the first Accor property in Ubud for the first time, I am blown away by the modern luxurious design of the room and the Balmain toiletries for the suite room that I was in. This is beyond what a Novotel usually offers, anywhere in the world. The real gem of this hotel is probably the staff. Everyone is so well-trained, exceptionally nice and communicates very well in English that really brings the level of service to the next level. Welcomed warmly by Vivi, the AFOM and GRO Salsa, my check-in was completed swiftly and in no time I was escorted to my room in the Suite wing. I was there for 3 nights and the original plan was to visit the Ubud town but due to widespread petrol shortage and hotter day temperature than expected, i stayed in throughout the entire stay. Thankfully, it was a rather serene stay with the smaller pool at the suite wing relatively uncrowded, offering a infinity pool view of the forest. I highly commend the wonderful F&B team for their excellent service at breakfast and dinner, always checking in on guests if the food or drinks was fine and are always happy to introduce their favourites in the menu. Thank you to Yesa, Darma, Gangga, Wahde, Azriel and Arya! Last but not least, the housekeeping team kept my room spotless and everything in order everyday including turndown service. Well done! The only letdown during my stay was something beyond the control of the hotel - the air quality. Despite good visibility, there was constantly a burning smell in the air, which gets progressively worse in the afternoon till night which I attribute to the burning of trash or garden leaves in the local communities nearby. There's nothing much the hotel can do but if only the balcony doors can be designed to be fully sealed (currently there's still a tiny gap after closing) or equip rooms with a air purifier, that would be wonderful.

With 2 infinity pools, excellent staff, prompt service what else can you expect from a stay. Rooms are almost brand new. Hotel itself looks in perfect shape. Amazing hospitality from the entire staff. All members greet you as soon as you pass them..breakfast spread was too good as well. We got many veg options as well. Chef actually made some dishes without egg etc as well. As an accor gold member, would have loved to meet the chef or get some packed food while going to Kuta which was a good 2 hours journey. Also wanted to pass special thanks to TA TA, my yoga instructor, Ferryan to fix my reservation issue so promptly. They both are very good in what they do. Overall deserved the best rating for such excellent service

Hotel was nice but most of the staff wasnt too friendy or polite. Especially during breakfast, there was this 1 guy who seems to be very annoyed and making lots of sounds with the dishes as he clean up the table.
