Excellent location, very professional staff, a comfortable bed, and a quiet, clean room. However, the bathroom and overall room quality were disappointing for a four-star hotel charging €150 per night. No complimentary water, iron, or proper desk. Good for a short stay, but I wouldn't return at this price.

The location was good, the room was clean, and the view was wonderful. However, the price was high, and the room was small.

4 night stay. The staff is remarkably nice; very different from my previous visits to Vienna. Christoph was great at check in and very cordial. The room was nice, housekeeping very good and the breakfast area was great (repetitive selection, yet you can mix it up and eat differently every day). Right next to Wien Hbf, making travelling about extremely convenient.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback regarding your recent stay at Novotel Wien Hauptbahnhof. We are delighted to hear that you found our staff to be remarkably nice and that Christoph made a positive impression during your check-in. It is gratifying to know that you enjoyed the comfort of your room and the convenience of our location next to Wien Hbf. We appreciate your comments about the breakfast selection and will continue to strive for variety to enhance our guests' experiences. Hotel was well located and modern but 2 things we were unhappy about during our stay. On a 2 night stay, tea/ coffee was not replenished after first night. Asked cleaning lady for an extra tea bag/ coffee sachet but she said no. Went down to reception who said they would send someone but never came. On a 150 euro a night room to provide only 1 tea bag and then refuse/ fail to replace it, is very poor. The other thing we weren't particularly happy with was the bed arrangements. Room was booked for a family of 4 (2 small children) but could only really fit 3 people. Small double bed, whilst the couch could only fit one of the children. Made for an uncomfortable stay in Vienna.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased that you appreciated our location and the modern design of the hotel, and we sincerely regret that two aspects of your stay left you disappointed. We apologise that your tea and coffee supplies were not replenished during your stay and that your request was not followed up as promised. This does not reflect the attentive service we aim to provide, and we have passed your comments on internally so that requests like yours are handled reliably and promptly in the future. Thank you also for your feedback regarding the sleeping arrangements. In our family rooms, children up to the age of 15 sleep on the sofa bed, which our team can prepare for two children by extending the backrest. We are sorry that this arrangement did not feel comfortable for your family. For a more spacious stay, we are happy to offer families a second room at a 50% discount, and our reception team will gladly assist with this when booking or during your stay. We would be delighted to welcome you back to Novotel Wien Hauptbahnhof and offer you a more comfortable experience next time. Best regards, Verena - Reservation Department Novotel Wien Hauptbahnhof

We are especially impressed with the front desk ladies that helped us the morning of Oct 14. I wish I had their name. One with glasses went above and beyond helping us finding information since our son needed some medical attention. We really appreciate the staff and will definitely return if we need to stay in Vienna again.
