This is a beautiful hotel on a beautiful property. The lobby and views from it are stunning and very upscale. Breakfast was included with our room and it was really great. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. I would not have chosen to stay here, however, had I known the extent of stairs that are required to do anything - get to rooms in buildings that don't have elevators (which is the case for almost all of the buildings), access restaurants and pool, etc. The beach is a public beach that doesn't have any hotel amenities such as chairs and umbrellas but it is a very nice and safe beach. It does require a great deal of stairs to access it from the property. In addition, the property is very large, hilly, and sprawling so much that a buggy is basically required to get to most rooms and at times you have to wait for that service. I would definitely recommend requesting a room in the main building or adjacent to it. Depending on what you are looking for, this hotel could be a great choice or a terrible one!

This 5* resort exceeded expectation - the little details made all the difference. This is easily one of the best holidays I have ever had. The best of the essentials: - clean and spacious Deluxe room with walk-in wardrobe and large balcony - fabulous shower with lovely toiletries - very comfortable bed and soft cotton bedding - superb breakfast means no need for lunch! - perfect adult pool with plenty of clean towels and drinking water The best of the rest: - very helpful and friendly staff made the holiday extra special - call button on each sun umbrella makes for easy ordering of drinks and snacks by the pool - handy shuttle vehicles to avoid the steep resort pathways and to get to/from the main beach and town centre - each room has a beach bag with towels for your days out Room for improvement: - the bathrooms would benefit from some vanity lighting - all lighting is provided by (not so bright) downlighters - the precarious steps down to the beach if you don't get a shuttle - I assume this area is not technically within the resort property but is nevertheless an accident waiting to happen

We'd like to offer feedback on our recent stay. Positives 1. The hotel location is lovely with convenient access to the public beach which is clean and child friendly. 2. The breakfast offers a great choice of food and service was very good for hot drinks and choice of eggs / noodle dishes. 3. The NYE party was very good with great atmosphere - although expensive. Negatives 1. As many reviewers have commented, the pool condition isn't great. There are so many loses tiles in the pool including sharp pieces. You can see kids collecting the loose tiles from the bottom as a game - not great !! There's many reviews on this particular issue going back over many months. 2. Our room had so many bright lights that were annoying at night. The AC control panel and the light switches all had lights bright enough to light up the room. We ended up using a towel to cover them up ! 3. The hotel has two restaurants. The main buffet restaurant is available for a choice of Thai food. Expensive and the quality isn't great compared to what you get outside the hotel. 4. The Italian restaurant works on a reservation system. Without reserving a table, you won't get a table unless it's very quiet. When we arrived the first night, we were turned away when it appeared most tables were empty. We then made a booking for a few nights later. We spoke to the manager to explain that we have seen many frustrated customers with the same issue being turned away but he politely explained the issue they face if they don't allow table bookings. They should retain some tables for walk ins as it's hard with young kids to plan each meal. 5. An hour after finishing breakfast we were sat near the pool and our little girl had just half eaten a muffin when we were told we shouldn't take food from breakfast to eat outside! 6. The staff seem distant and don't offer the same welcome you get in Bali or Maldives. The hotel has good points but we wouldn't choose to stay again unfortunately.

We recognise how frustrating this can be, and we want to assure you that we are actively working on addressing the issue. In light of the high season, we made the decision to keep the pool open rather than close it for 3 months and impact guests even more. To ensure safety, we have staff working in the pool every night to make necessary repairs, and we also provide pool socks for those who wish to use them. We understand how the reservation system at the Italian restaurant can be frustrating, especially for families. It’s a very popular spot, and to prioritize our in-house guests, we do our best to inform everyone at check-in about the need for a reservation, particularly when traveling with children. Additionally, we do not accept bookings from outside the resort to ensure our guests have priority. As a parent myself, I know how challenging it can be when kids are hungry, and we truly appreciate your suggestion. We may look into adopting a no-reservation policy before 7 pm to better accommodate families - The only challenge is with such a stunning view, everyone seems to want a table around 6:30 pm to catch the sunset. At Pullman, we pride ourselves on our service culture, and it’s something that consistently receives positive feedback from our guests. This makes your comments particularly surprising and disappointing, as Thailand is known as the Land of Smiles, and at Pullman we strive to champion this motto. We were back for our 6th visit and it was the perfect holiday. The views are always worth the visit, stunning sea views and sunsets right from the balcony of the ocean room. The team are fantastic as always, smiling faces all around whoever we meet at any time. Special thanks to Albert and Brett who made the effort to make us feel so welcomed each time we visit. The team in Elements and the kids club are wonderful as well, our two boys enjoyed spending time there daily which gave us time for some happy hour drinks! Loved the tequila in the new M-bar as well! See you all again soon!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pullman Arcadia Naithon Beach, Phuket. The hotel is set on a headland overlooking the beautiful beach which isn’t spoiled by over development. There’s no motorised water sports allowed from the beach. The hotel has direct access via stairs by the pool. The beach is really clean and seawater was very inviting. The hotel is absolutely fabulous. The staff were the most attentive and friendly hotel staff I’ve ever experienced. The rooms are really spacious, well appointed and the housekeeping kept it lovely and clean throughout our stay and provided an endless supply of bottled water which was great! We stayed in room 236 with a great sea view and the added bonus of being virtually on the same level as the restaurant and pool. The food was really good. They provide a huge choice at the breakfast buffet and it was always really fresh and inviting with daily specialties. The main restaurant, Elements has some themed evening events as well as a very good A la carte menu. The Vero Italian restaurant is exceptionally good. For lunch we loved the Poke bowls from Bowls and More and there’s a great menu at the pool bar or in Elements, the main restaurant. There’s a happy hour…or two in the bar which has stunning views across the beach and pool. The hotel is 15-20 minutes drive from the airport but there’s no aircraft noise. The hotel arranged their own transport to take us on a tour of Phuket island and we had another boat trip arranged through the hotel to James Bond Island and Phang Nga Bay with Seahorse Marine…this is a must do trip! If I was to find fault I’d say the sunbeds by the pool could do with upgrading as not all had cushions and there was an issue with some of the mosaic tiles in the pool coming away but they were addressing that at night with people diving down and refixing them but the bottom of the pool wasn’t as smooth as you’d like. There’s a second adults only pool at the top of the hill which looked lovely but wasn’t quite as convenient for our room although there’s transport to shuttle you up and down the hill. All in all I’d highly recommend this hotel to any of my friends and anyone reading this review.
