We stayed for two nights after arriving in Phuket. We decided to stay closer to the aiport before travelling to another destination. We loved everything about the hotel/resort. The breakfast in particular is one of the best I’ve had anywhere around the world. Will definitely return.

First night I had a severe vomiting pain and was rushed to the hospital. Me and my wife had the chocolate gelato at the italian restaurant, she vomited the chocolate out first after an hour. After that it was my turn, but because I have a weak stomach so my situation became worst but we didn’t want to make a scene about the ice cream so we let go. The next day evening I was better and i went to the italian , the place was full and there was no space, I request that if I could order some simple soft fish and eat down at the restaurant but was refused so I went down. Worst than that, i saw a lot of thai menu and ask for simple rice and was told i have to pool to the restaurant near the pool of i want rice, because its not in the menu and 10 minutes then the kitchen will close. I am surprise because you are selling tom yum in the menu and i cant order a simple fry rice. In the end we moved, ate something which comes very oily and not nice. Never seen this at a five star but it is how it is I think. Will leave a note to Accor headquarters. Thank you. Pauramin S. FICO GROUP

I am truly sorry to read about what happened during your stay, especially as you have known Accor and our property for many years. Please allow me to first reassure you that we take any food-related concern extremely seriously. At Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach, we hold ourselves to an international food safety and hygiene program, HACCP, with strict procedures in place for food handling, storage, preparation, and monitoring. Following your comments, I personally reviewed this matter with our team this morning, including the service records for the chocolate gelato served that evening. We served approximately 20 portions of the same chocolate gelato that night, and at this stage, we have not received any other reports of illness linked to this item. That said, we do not wish to make any assumptions without better understanding the full picture. To assist us with a more complete review, may I kindly ask if you could share what you and your wife had for breakfast and lunch earlier that day, as well as any other food or drinks consumed before dining with us? In food-related cases, the last item consumed may naturally be the first to be expelled, but it may not always be the actual source of the issue. Any further details you are comfortable sharing would help our Hygiene and Food & Beverage teams conduct a proper and accurate investigation. With regard to your dining experience the following evening, I would also like to provide some context, while still fully acknowledging where we fell short. ECHO is not operated as an all-day dining restaurant in the evening. At night, it becomes a standalone signature dining concept with its own menu and kitchen direction. To support guests who may prefer something lighter or simpler, we have extended the operating hours of Azur Bar until 8:00 pm, where options such as fried rice and other casual dishes are available. That being said, this should have been communicated to you with far greater care and clarity. More importantly, the lack of flexibility shown by our team in supporting you, especially when you were recovering and simply looking for something suitable to eat, is unacceptable and incredibly disappointing. At Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach, we live by a service culture we call Sai Jai — service from the heart. In this situation, it appears that we did not demonstrate that spirit as we should have. There was clearly a lack of communication, ownership, and genuine care in helping you understand the options available and finding a solution that would have supported your needs at that moment. Please accept my sincere apologies once again. Your comments have already been shared with our Food & Beverage and Hygiene leadership teams for immediate review, both in relation to the food concern raised and the service approach shown during your dining experience. While I understand that you may wish to raise this matter with Accor Head Office, I would personally appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly as the General Manager of the resort. May I kindly ask you to share your preferred contact number, so that I may reach out to you for a more personal conversation and better understand your concerns in detail? The best hotel, the greatest hotel with stayed at the staff were incredible and the food was amazing at the buffet It was honestly the best experience with love to come back again soon. Mai was fantastic and Albert was really helpful as well. I’ve already recommended hotel to people in my network. Five stars.
