Best hotel in south goa. A lot of people complain about the weddings but it’s such a lovely experience to see the happy couple and the difference between their weddings and our weddings. Perfect location and fantastic staff at this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. We have visited this hotel many times as well as other hotels but the Dona Sylvia is by far the best. We can’t wait to return next year.

It was truly a harrowing experience as the hotel staff along with security personnel did not allow our app based taxi to enter inside the main gate and pick us up while checking out. I have a 9 month old baby along with us and we had to walk in scorching afternoon sun to find another taxi just because the security guard threatened our pre paid taxi with dire consequences if he chose to enter inside the resort. This was completely unexpected and threw our entire anniversary experience out for a toss. Our family almost missed the flight due to this and we really are not coming back to this resort after this incident.

The property is beautiful but the rooms are mediocre

We stayed at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia for a day. While the property is really beautiful with lush green surroundings and greenery, the rooms services were ill-managed. The refrigerator in our room was not functioning and the quality of room was disappointing. We expected better from a brand like Novotel.

Property is good, restaurants are in a natural set up, so we were sweating in the warm weather. We could have enjoyed more if only the restaurants are in a closed environment. Amenities are good, service is good. A big disappointment is the transport - which is exorbitant and is a mafia. No option that way the location is bad as we are at their mercy. This property is a strict “NO” for a second visit from me.
