We understand that circumstances can change and that the need to amend a reservation can be disappointing. Unfortunately, the reservation was subject to specific rate conditions that do not allow modifications or cancellations once confirmed. As the booking was made through an external booking platform, any changes would need to be handled through the original provider rather than directly by the hotel. While we regret that we were unable to offer a different solution on this occasion, we appreciate your understanding. Regarding check-in times, our guaranteed check-in is from 3:00 PM onwards. Whenever possible, we are pleased to offer access to rooms before this time; however, this is subject to availability and room readiness on the day of arrival and therefore cannot be guaranteed in advance. I would have rated 9 if the wifi was working in my room. The signal was full outside my door, but as soon as I closed it and stand 3 steps inside, the signal dropped to 2 then kept losing signal. I had to resort to my 4G then during the weekend stay. I reported this to the front desk and he made a note but couldn't do anything as it was Saturday evening. Other than that, everything is good. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from Wien Hauptbahnhof, so it's very easy to hop on a train to/from airport or nearby towns and eateries are opened throughout the weekend. As Gold a member, my room was upgraded to Executive room, where there is mini fridge (fully stocked daily) and some snacks, all are free. Room is clean and I love the clothes steamer. Special thanks to the young lady on duty on Sunday night, sorry I don't know her name. She helped me to open the in-room safe using the override key because I couldn't recall the number combination. I had to leave early on Monday so I couldn't wait for the technician to start work.
