Pool closed, no lunch or bar at lunchtime. Dinner and breakfast was in a small meeting room with zero ambience, loud tradies from 7am, grounds looked unkept, despite room being refurbished the aircon was loud/unbearable and couldnt be used. The reception was mostly unmanned - very unwelcoming. Have stayed there before and it was lovely, not this time though. For such a great location it is a shame to see it in this way.

We were never made aware the kitchen was down. The food cart was awful. The massage was interrupted midway through with fire alarm. Overall an awful experience. Appreciate the renovations are on and I’m sure it will be lovely once it’s done but we will be looking elsewhere for the next stay unfortunately as we had been here a few times and have previously enjoyed the Stephanie’s spa. No compensation for the massage being interrupted with fire alarms due to construction was disappointing

Booked a night to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Unfortunately due to renovations there was no restaurant, bar or a fireplace to enjoy. We had to go somewhere else for dinner. Also no soap in my shower, no coffee pods. Expected more for the price I paid!

We received a free birthday upgrade to one of the recently renovated cabin suites. The first night dinner service was warm and friendly in the pop up restaurant as was our breakfast the following morning. The grounds were peaceful and well kept. We will be looking forward to returning again post renovation completions.
