Pros: - Friendly and professional staff ( especially Phi and Hoa from FO team) - Clean room and mordern facilities - Good location, just cross the road to the beach and close to restaurant and attractions. - Assigned room on high floor with the good view even it is just city view. - Thanks to Housekeeping team, I can have my airpod that I forgot in my room before I went to the airport. Cons: - I emailed to reservation team that Nov 16th is my birthday but I do not have any amenities like a small cake or fruit to welcome me for my stay during my birthday celebration. I hope you can improve that for the other future guests if they come to stay at your property to celebrate their special occasion. Just some little things but can make the guest suprised and feel welcomed. - Breakfast: Not to many selections. I am not sure but I think it is not a high season so the hotel did not prepare to much food. But lots of the food is not hot as it should be. Please aware of that. - Please call guest by name. Try to use the guest name from the moment you see their ID or their booking on system. I did not hear your team use my name during check-in, check-out or escorting me to the room. I am also a Heartist so I really appreciate all members from Mercure Nha Trang beach hotel for taking care of my stay. That is my constructive feedback to team. I hope that the Management team can improve the issues I mentioned to enhance the quality of the service.

It is a rare moment when a stay at an Accor property manages to redefine my expectations — unfortunately, Mercure Nha Trang has done so, but in the least flattering way. On the day of departure, I requested nothing extravagant: merely a short extension until 1PM, not even the full entitlement of my Gold late checkout benefit. The response was a categorical refusal, delivered with a rigidity one might expect from a budget hostel, not a newly opened Mercure. What elevated this from disappointing to truly disconcerting, however, was the follow-up. At precisely 12 noon, as though on cue, staff appeared at my door to remind me of the checkout time — a gesture less of courtesy than of surveillance. The implication was clear: that I was a guest to be hurried out, rather than one to be valued. I cannot help but compare: Novotel, a peer brand within the same segment, and even ibis — an economy-oriented brand — have both left me with far more positive experiences. At ibis Bangkok, under almost identical circumstances, I once called reception just a couple of hours before checkout to ask for a late checkout, and it was granted without hesitation — at a time when I was not even an Accor member. To find Mercure Nha Trang falling short of such standards is not just surprising, it is telling. This stay was meant to be both a discovery of a new property and a small step on my journey toward Platinum. Instead, it served as a reminder that attractive rates often come with an unattractive trade-off in hospitality. Perhaps this hotel has decided which kind of guests it wishes to “welcome.” If so, I can only wish it every success in catering to that chosen clientele.

I had a delightful stay at Mercure Nha Trang. The room was spotless with a stunning view, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The pool water was a little cool and the AC quite hard to balance, but overall it was a wonderful experience. I’ll happily recommend this hotel to family and friends.
