Nice pool villa and staffs, but..

I spent 3 days in pool villa and 1 day in hotel room. Everything was great in pool villa since it was quiet and spacious. My requests (towels, water, etc.) were promptly fulfilled. Staffs were very friendly to kids. "Tuan" who works near archery activity is a good chess player and gladly played giant chess with my child two days in a row. "Tai" life guard at the main pool was also so kind and flexible with tube rental so my child could enjoy swimming everyday. One thing that I felt uncomfortable with was staffs sometimes kind of forced guests to write reviews even when I didn't get to know him/her well or feel appreciated enough. He/She even stood next to me watching whether I write down something good! When I checked in the hotel room, I found 'paederus' insect on the bed. This insect can cause serious skin irritation. Hope Movenpick resort care more about pedt control.

My colleagues and I this morning we had breakfast at the Panorama restaurant and it was fabulous. The ambiance, the buffet spread, the quality and taste of each dish was top. Special thank you for Captain Jason who looked after us, showcasing his service skills which went above and beyond 5 stars.

I arrived as a solo traveller, so I demand less compared to when I travel with my family. The lady at the reception was nice and professional. The resort facilities though have been build for a long time, remains clean and well maintained. Breakfast was generous. But the noddles section could improve. There were a long line for breakfast from ~7:30 am. Maybe the resort can consider having an additional restaurant that serves breakfast. During breakfast there were a female staff who showed attitude to me when I sat at the Accor members table. I showed my silver membership and it turns out that table is reserved only for gold level and higher. However, the restaurant were packed and there were no other tables except for about 4-5 empty Accor table with no waiting guest and I started to eat but she still insist that I'll have to wait for a table for find another one myself (which i made it clear to her that I couldn't find a table). It wasn't a nice way to start the day for me. Another thing is the room service staff only knocks for less than 1 minutes and then they will use their cards to rush in your room. It happened to me 3 times during my stay. Also the resort should have warned guest about beetles that may fly inside the room if they left the bacolny door open in the afternoon.

Vietnamese Accor Plus Member Not Much Welcome Here

We made reservations for two rooms nearly two months prior to our stay, and paid in full one week before our arrival. Additionally, we provided our itinerary with an estimated arrival time three days in advance. Upon arriving at the hotel at approximately 7:30 AM, we completed the check-in process within 15 minutes using my Accor Plus membership card. Regrettably, the front desk staff at the time seemed to overlook the advanced preparations we had made, as we were not provided with room keys until 3:45 PM. It appeared that their primary focus was on serving foreign guests, even though they arrived after we did. This suggests a preference for foreign clientele over Vietnamese Accor members.
