Decent resort with beautiful beach

The resort is located at one of the most beautiful beach in Vietnam, water is crystal clear. Some outlets are shutdown due to the Pandemic. The staffs are really friendly and helpful, I really feel welcomed when I was there. Room is spacious with a wide view over the pool and beach. But there are some downside such as some furniture features are broken even though resort is newly opened, breakfast buffet is worse and has fewer choices compared to some resorts nearby. And a little thing that disappoint me is that when I made a booking, I emailed the reservation team that we want to celebrate my wife's birthday and I asked if the resort can prepare something, they said yes but nothing happened through our stay at resort. Overall, it was a good stay and thank Movenpick for your serving.

We booked 2 rooms and had one room free upgrade. The room was clean and well-designed. Staff was nice and helpful. I appreciate Mr. Dan FO that kindly offered us a late check out due to our late flight! It was such a great holiday for my family. Highly recommend this resort and for sure we will come back!

My staying experience at the Movenpick was not too bad, until I had experienced such bad customer service from the front desk staffs at the end of my trip. In terms of the hotel itself and its facilities, I found the room to be okay, furnitures can be maintained better consider how "newly furbished" the hotel is ( I found several stains on the sofa, which is a little disappointing for a 5 star hotel). However furnitures are new and modern, the room was very well accommodating . The hotel comes with several restaurants, even though they don't seems to all open during Covid period which is understandable. The Tropicana restaurant by the beach was okay, we had dinner and lots of cocktails here during our 5 days stay however found the food and drinks options are not that great. I was extremely disappointed with the bar, since the menu seems to offer some great cocktails but I have to say the consistency of the bartender is shockingly awful. I had order about 5 blueberry mojitos and they all come out differently in terms of taste and colour. They really should also add in the cocktails menu from the Swiss Village restaurant, or at least make it easier for guest to order from the beach. Speaking of which, none of those assisting buttons by the beach or pool work, what are they there for? or are we just being ignored by the staffs? I had a voucher which I had especially given to the the front desk before our check-in, in order to be aware of which services within our hotel it can be apply for. Since the lady who checked us in seems very junior at what she was doing, I had repeatedly asked her to double check the eligibility of our voucher, even with manager because we don't want to have misleading information before deciding to use it. She assured us about already putting on the system automatic discount from applying the voucher to our services, including all restaurants and room services and spa. However at our check-out, none of our bills has been discounted, and we were explained that our voucher was only eligible for the spa ( which was closed) and the rope park. I was particularly very angry as I felt like we got cheated with the misinformation from our check-in lady because we would not have used it from the beginning if we knew that was the case. Check out process was very slow since the system crashed down, we were already late for our flight so we just wanted to pay the bill to get it done with. I asked if I could have my voucher back to use at another stay since we were passed the wrong information from the beginning and actually have not used it, but were told that it is torn, meaning that it was used and cannot be given back, but honestly, it was a tear of about 1cm long, which was already there before we even gave the voucher to the hotel at check in ( even the check-in lady tried to use it to not let us use the voucher at the beginning). We were shocked, literally felt like we got fooled by the hotel staffs but at the same time late for out flight so just have to pay the bill and told ourselves never to be back here again.

Great experience. The bungalows are fantastic. The only thing I have suffered is with the food. I am vegetarian and it was difficult to eat in your restaurants. Breakfast food was always the same for four days in a row and with limited vegetarian options. The only restaurant that was opened for lunch and dinner just had a few vegetarian dishes. I ordered once the french fries there and they were over cooked. Overall, the hotel is fantastic, but for me the food was not very appealing and it is a petty since there are no much places to go around for dinner and lunches. I would have eaten more in the hotel if the food were different, maybe because of Covid that there are not many choices but for the future, it would be nice if there are more options.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in a pool villa with our three children aged 9, 8 and 5. The resort was beautiful and the kids just LOVED the water slides, the ropes course (which you pay extra for) and the kids club (despite this only functioning at a small scale due to COVID). Our villa was a great size for our family and it was well set up for our needs. We enjoyed the food, although had some issues with service (delays, incorrect orders etc) on some days depending on staff. One outstanding member of staff was Evguenia at the Tropicana bar, she always made sure our order was correct and everything was perfect when she was around!

Very nice experience that our stay was upgraded at checkin. Nice villa with beautiful landscape! Free glas bottles in the room everyday was a big plus for environment protection. Breakfast was perfect but fruits should be more varied, yoghurt be home made to avoid plastic waste! The lunch/dinner package could be better by improving the food quality , service and menu choice.

the room is new and nice but the majority of staff is not good and professional . With the big scale resort I expect smooth service other than amateur service. I bought half board package and offered free soft drink and beer on the 1st day and soft drink only on the 2nd day . what is the real offer ? I was treated like complimentary meal .

I have a beautiful villa with well equipped. Room is smart, nice and clean. The pools is very wonderful as well. Some minus points: The distance from my villa (301) is so far away to swimming pool, restautant and beach. And the time waiting for electric car is long a little bit. The television is bad. It usually freeze when openning youtube app for my children. Swiss Village does not have many activities like advertisement.
