The aparthotel had everything you need, it was modern and spacious. The facilities were good, the gym was a good size and had a good selection of weights and machines. The only thing that would be better, if it was a bit cooler in there. The pool on the roof was good.

I had booked the Heartist rate and requested a twin room by email, which had previously been confirmed. Upon arrival, I was told that confirming the twin room had been a mistake. I was given room 006, directly behind reception, and unfortunately could hardly sleep due to constant noise from the elevator, guests, reception activities, breakfast preparation and housekeeping. The breakfast was also disappointing, with flies on the fruit, broken coffee cups, and tables and lamps that appeared not to have been properly cleaned. The pool area also showed many visible signs of mould, which was concerning from a hygiene perspective. I felt disappointed as the hotel clearly has potential. With more attention to cleanliness, maintenance and guest comfort, the experience could be significantly improved. I still gave an overall rating of 8, as I understand how important feedback is for the hotel...

Apartment was lovely, very modern. A/C was brilliant (it was very hot in when we stayed end of July). Location is great with bus stop 5min away going to all the main tourist spots! The only thing that could be improved is our bins weren’t emptied all week and we didn’t get any fresh towels for the last few days. We missed them as we accidentally left the do not disturb sign up, and then arranged with reception to get them the next morning but that didn’t happen unfortunately. There is a laundry room on the bottom floor, but we were hoping it didn’t come to that.

Great location,friendly staff. There were building works around the hotel but no major noise problem. Gym was well equipped and clean (with additional available sanitizing products). Rooftop pool was lovely - only used it once in the evening so can't comment whether it gets busy during the day or not. Restaurant was nice,fairly priced although not a huge food selection. As the name suggests it's a Bistro so for that it was great.We didn't have breakfast there but the selection looked good. I had booked a room with a balcony but we didn't have one. Didn't mention to staff because I wanted to concentrate on the holiday instead of finding faults although having one would have been convinient for drying clothes.The room itself was spacious and clean. Bathroom was a good size with a bath and a shower.The kitchen was also well-equipped - with a kettle (which was an instant good point for me). There were 2 lifts so getting up and down didn't take much waiting around.

The room is great and really spacious. My friend and I kept telling our partners that the bathroom is so spacious that you can put a double bed inside. Kidding aside, we enjoyed our stay. Funny at times that when we flush the toilet, we kept hearing the noise as if a there was something exploding and an incidental cockroach visited - we killed it and no problem at all.

The kitchen in the room adds very useful extra space. The beds are of medium comfort, and the pillows are not very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The rooftop swimming pool is very convenient, although it is a bit small and the bar was always closed. Breakfast was not great in terms of either choice or quality, and I found it less satisfying than at other hotels in the chain.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Had an issue on the first night with cockroach in the apartment. Dealt with it ourselves and informed night staff. Full clean and diss-infecting of apartment took place next day. Spotless after that. Ceilings in bedroom and living area could do with being re-plastered and painted(possible mould-black marks on both ceilings) as they're directly below swimming pool. Overall, the stay was an enjoyable one. Location was 10 minutes from Valletta by bus, 15 minute walk to Sliema, 10 minutes bus to St. Julian's and 35 minutes to St. Paul's Bay. Airport transfer took 20 minutes. Staff very pleasant and helpful to any request.

We booked an apartment to be together, but sleep separately. The couch was smelly, the towels smelled like vinegar and wifi was available only in the living room. Not available in bedroom or balcony. The AC was switching off everytime we left the room. First time i encountered a room without ventilation while away. Always coming back to the hotel to find a hot and humid apartment

Firstly, you get an email ONE day before check-in saying that they WONT clean your room at all if your stay is under 8 days. Absolutely disingenuous. Any request we made to reception throughout our stay was ignored until we went down 3 times. These requests were simple. Asking for new towels, getting an iron, etc. Whatever they use for washing towels and bedsheets has a disgusting odor. Getting food delivered from the restaurant to your room is an additional 5 EUR. Bizarre charge.

The hotel has friendly staff, a small pool, and decent breakfasts. On the downside, cleanliness is an issue — rooms are cleaned only once a week, which is noticeable in the condition of the furnishings, with stained chairs and sofas both in the rooms and in the restaurant. Even after cleaning, the floor feels sticky, so walking around in white socks is not an option — they will turn black. In summary, if they don’t improve the quality of cleaning, the hotel will continue to decline.

* Breakfast was below average, food was reused frequently. * Service was not up to standard for an apprent 4star Hotel. * Rooms where a good size, gym was good pool was very good, laundry facity was handy and fair priced. * Air-conditioning was odd, trun off when you left the room or opended the door, so after a day the room was hot. * On a good note the Hotel was priced well * over all ok could have been a lot better * The hotel was clean and well kept

I understand that the room can be hot after returning to it after a day out but it will also quickly cool down by switching the ACs on. We had a wonderful stay at Aparthotel Adagio Malta Central. The rooms were spacious, modern, clean, and well-equipped, making our stay very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The rooftop pool offered beautiful views, and the location was convenient for exploring Valletta, Sliema, and other parts of Malta. We also appreciated the kitchenette and the excellent facilities throughout the hotel. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Malta.
