We regret that the odour caused by the ongoing carpet maintenance affected your stay. The protective covering was part of a scheduled deep-cleaning process and, while the work was temporary, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Regarding your early check-in request, please be reminded that this is always subject to availability and, while we do our very best to accommodate requests whenever possible, it can never be guaranteed unless the room is reserved from the night before. As for the bed configuration, although your reservation reached us without a twin-bed request, our Reception Team was pleased to allocate you a twin room immediately upon arrival. Regarding the luggage service, while we are always happy to store luggage for our Guests before check-in or after check-out, our hotel does not offer a porter or bell service to carry luggage to and from rooms. Despite this, we always try our best to still assist wherever possible, particularly when Guests have specific mobility or accessibility needs, but, as explained by our Receptionist, this is not a standard service provided by the hotel. We are sorry to hear that our breakfast did not meet your expectations. Your comments have been shared with the relevant Team, as we continuously review our offering to ensure it meets the standards our Guests expect. Regarding the nearby construction, unfortunately this took place outside the hotel, and was therefore beyond our control.
