Hot water was missing for full 1 day and night that I stayed being outside around 40 C degrees. I had to shower with cold water. Also the breakfast is quite limited, and all the food at the roof top restaurant has no taste.

Thanks for the opportunity to share my feedback after my stay: the hotel is well located, close to stations, shops, etc, the view for standard room- disappointed me a lot, a wall view was depressing / no space to put all our clothes and no space to dry the swimsuits, the staff is very friendly and supportive and the cleaning was very good, the breakfast should have more options, more types of fruit, and dishes, the rooftop pool is very nice and the view is Stunning, we had some issues with the door lock and the shower and there was a warm water shortage for two days- maybe you need to have more maintenance people that could work extra and solve more rapidly the problems, the noise from the workers next to the hotel was annoying. Unfortunately I am not sure right now if I could recommend your hotel to other people as our experience was not great. Thanks again for the chance to express myself! It means a lot!

Perfect location and they did all they can to make our stay personal and pleasant. Before hoping the asked if the stay was attached to something personal, and it was, so on that day they gave extra shine to the day by putting a nice card in the room with wishes and a bottle of wine. Made the day really special for my wife.

Mercure St. Julian Malta Hotel is assumed one of the very good hotels in Malta. However it is deficient to compare to other Mercure hotels outside Malta. Upon arrival there were “leftovers” from previous guests despite the cleaning. The hotel building with 11 storeys and a small staircase would be a trap in case of a fire- one should check if the fire regulations have been met. Courtesy and kindness of experienced staff were exemplary but should not compensate some neglect by the interns. The intern colleagues were keen to help, but did not seem to have received harmonized instructions.

Lovely hotel in a very convenient location. Recommendable to choose Spinola Bay view rooms. We loved our suite overlooking the bay. Reception, bar, breakfast & housekeeping staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good for the price. The pool was smaller than expected as it wasn't really suitable for swimming, good for dipping in. The corridor to the rooms was very stuffy with a strange odour and ery strong floral refresher which wasn't pleasant.

Overrated! 215€ per day do not reflect anything in the hotel! You offer a bottle of tap water to your guests and if you want a second one you get charged! Even instant bag coffee in the room, if consumed one day next day doesn’t get replaced. Having a rooftop pool does not make you special. A very simple bed & breakfast that I wouldn’t pay more than 80€-90€ per night. Only the location was good.

Our room was so smelly, some problem with plumbing system. Every morning after night need to fill water in soak or shower. Food in breakfast need to be more, becouse its not ibis hotel but mercure.
