Our stay at the Mercure was part of a coach tour of Sicily and Malta. We thought it the best of all 5 hotels we were booked in to. Nice rooms, very helpful front desk. Situated close to the Esplanade that is fun to walk, and many, varied restaurants. Best Breakfast, too! Thank you.

Exceeded our expectations. We got upgraded to the privilege suite and the room was just perfect. Spacious, quiet, and the terrace had a lovely sea view. We found refreshments in the room which were a plus. Reception staff were great & super friendly.

Had a great last minute trip to Malta. Price was extremely reasonable for the hotel which included breakfast. Quite a new hotel and very well presented. Room was large and comfy, and the bathroom was also big and clean and the shower especially was amazing. Room had a balcony and good air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent, I was off season but it was still well stocked and not busy. The pool on the roof is also a great bonus, not heated so in the winter months might not use it much but very refreshing when the sun is out and even without going in the pool it’s a great area to chill out and enjoy a drink (order and they bring it up to you). Generally all great and was totally stress free, staff were excellent and very attentive. They even managed to work out my birthday fell within the stay and left a card and small gift in the room! 2 of the most minor bad points are that my fridge initially didn’t work but this was fixed whilst I was out during the day, and there is construction happening on surrounding buildings so depending which way your room faces there might be some noise during the day. But this isn’t the hotel’s fault and rooms are still generally quiet and private. Will certainly be looking here first when coming to visit again. Hotel is very close many restaurants and everything in St Julian’s which and end of the street is a bus stop with buses to Valletta every 5-10 mins so all super convenient. A Bolt taxi back from Valletta was about €12 in the evenings I found.
