Great location, clean bedrooms, Nice roof top pool, Check in was slow, the guy was pretty unfriendly, no chat and not made to feel welcome, no information given. The other lady's on the desk seemed more friendly and smiley. Personally I would not bother with breakfast next door, very odd/limited selection, but they do have great coffee. Would not stay again unfortunately.
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking time to write a review of your hotel stay. As we are currently experiencing high occupancy, check-in may require some waiting time due to the high volume of guests that our Front desk staff have to handle. We currently offer 7 menu options for breakfast and most of our guests are happy with the selections available which includes options for Western guests and vegetarian guests. We will continually seek ways to enhance and improve our guest’s stay experience and we do hope to welcome you back to a better experience should you stay with us again in the near future. Warm Regards, Roland Guest Experience Executive

Good value for a short stop off when travelling. Good location for main attractions, all of which are within walking distance or a short train ride. Breakfast is served in the small cafe next to the entrance and is good. The only problem is the room size, no room to open suitcases, we had to use the bed. However the rooms are clean - like the rest of the country, and the bed was comfortable. Thank god for air conditioning, this is a hot and humid country but we loved it!
Dear Jef, Thank you for choosing our hotel as your preferred accommodation choice here in Singapore. Our hotel is indeed very well located and very attractive to many tourists looking to vacation in Singapore with close proximity to Clarke Quay and Chinatown MRT stations and various popular attractions such as Singapore River and Chinatown. As Singapore is a small city state, rooms in economy-tiered hotels are not spacious, but they are functional and have all the necessary features to provide guests with a comfortable rest. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back the next time you return to our sunny island! Warm Regards, Roland Guest Experience Executive

Singapore is expensive for accommodation and so we were happy with this hotel based on the price we paid. We had a room without a window which was fine and the beds and air con worked fine. They now have a fridge in the room which is good. The shower and toilet are together and so you do get a bit of water on the toilet, but it was fine for us (some people may not like this arrangement). Good location near 2 mtr stations and 5 minute walk to Clark Quay and shopping mall. The pool was nice for a swim but very limited seats. We walked the 10 minutes to the Maxwell hawker centre for breakfast which is a cheap place to eat compare to the cafe next door, plus you get to try local foods.
Dear David, It means a lot to us to hear that you had a great stay in our hotel and we are pleased to know that our hotel and its accessible location had met your needs as a traveller. Your kind compliments will motivate us to do even better to delight our guests and create a memorable experience for all. Warm Regards, Roland Guest Experience Executive

The hotel is nothing overly fancy but it is more than enough for what I needed. I stayed here as a solo traveller to see the sights of Singapore needing somewhere decent to sleep, wash, have breakfast, and cool off in a pool all at a decent price. This hotel ticked all those boxes. I was impressed by my room despite the negative feedback from other travellers. It was not huge and there wasn't much storage for my clothes but it did the job. There is a travel kettle with coffee, a hair dryer, shower gel, and toothbrush provided. I was disappointed that there was no bar of soap or handwash. The shower and the toilet are together, there is no shower door. Maybe they could install a curtain to stop the water going everywhere. I was happy with breakfast. There is a set menu you can choose from. I had the western breakfast every day which was scrambled eggs, ham, beans, and 2 croissants. You can choose coffee or juice. Lovely pool at the top which I think is excellent they have this as it is a budget hotel. They just need a few more seats up there for when it gets a bit busy. They allowed me to leave my luggage in reception on check out day as my flight was in the night which was accommodating of them. The location is very good, 15 minute walk to Merlion and 2 minute walk to MRT. I would definitely stay here again and reccomend it if you are there to sight see and need a decent place to come back to. It is basic but definitely adequate.

Stayed at the Ibis Budget Clark Quay for three night as a stop-over on the way home from Europe. I have to say I'm a bit torn.... the Hotel as the name suggests is a "Budget" Hotel. Foyer is small, but serviceable, check in was fast and easy. The room was Very small, but nice enough. The Bathroom was smaller & is a wet room, so no separation between shower, toilet & sink & no place to put anything.... however, as I said it's a "Budget" Hotel! It's also the first place I think I've stayed with no fridge!! The roof top pool is fantastic, however, take a towel from your room as I Never saw any towels, where they were supposed to be available near the pool! My room wasn't serviced, at all, the whole time I was there.. which was disappointing! Now let me tell you the good things! The staff are friendly and accomodating, it's located only a short walk to both Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, & Clarke Quay Central, which includes the MRT! This makes it a fantastic base to see & explore Singapore! It's only a $28 Singapore dollar Taxi ride from the Airport & there a a few 7/11s and Mini Marts nearby. Breakfast was supplied vis a Cafe next door between 8 -10am. Whilst there is only 4 choices, I didn't mind it & the coffee was nice! Would I go back, maybe, but its certainly a great option if your visiting Singapore on a tight budget!
Dear Mark , Thank you for letting us know we have met your expectations as a budget-conscious urban explorer and recommending us to other travellers on a tight budget. We are grateful to hear of your appreciation for our service staff and our superb locations. Pool towels are available and we apologise for not replenishing them on time. Please do not hesistate to request from my colleagues if you need one. We would also like to update that our cafe has opened at 7.30 since 1 August to better serve our guests who need to have breakfast earlier. We look forward to be of service to your again. Warm Regards, Stanley Guest Relations Executive
