Location in a commercial/industrial/school zone makes sense because the place caters to students/temp workers staying long term. Common areas in good repair; one of our two rooms had no AC and was missing some baseboards and there was a jagged tile protruding from the shower base. Further, on one night they held a dance party in the courtyard that went past midnight. Unfortunately, my room was the one without AC and I had to keep the window open in order not to suffocate. I was unable to sleep due to excessive bass and shrill treble. The DJ did have an excellent playlist though ; ) Rooms were clean (even the tattered one) and the staff were friendly...not. so helpful with the noise inquiry at 11:20pm though : (
