Great location. Closed to Royal Palace and National museum but not crowded. Very quiet at night. Staff is friendly and hospitable. Room is spacious and comfortable.

We stayed at Tribe Phnom Penh 2 times from February 7 to February 18, 2026 We liked the physical hotel but our stay was ruined by smoke filled guest rooms and hallways. It made our son sick, he changed rooms and floors 3 times! The hotel documents stated 100% smoke free! That was a lie! We complained loudly every single day to the front guest and the French Manager to no avail. The hotel was over run with Chinese guest on every floor who refused to stop chain smoking in their rooms and the hallways!! The French manager did nothing to enforce the hotel rules. He appeared afraid of the Chinese guest or unqualified for his position!!!! His lame solution was to open all the fire doors on each floor so guest cold find their room in the thick smoke! This of course resulted in 40c heated hallways !! In addition to the smoke and heat, the Chinese guest had day and night Grab food deliveries and left their smelly trash outside their room doors looking like a low income housing project! We had booked through Agoda, we had no option for a 100% refund and cancellation. I travel to Phnom Penh many times a year for the past 20 years. I regret "trying The Tribe" I know many travel agencies over the years and I informed them of my family's terrible experience and the lack of responsible management at your hotel.
