Very friendly front desk staffs that is always available for help with any queries. Especially Natalie, Monika and Sopheap. They make us feel very welcome and at home. The staffs at the Makila Restaurant are also very good especially the manage Monkhitar (might have spelled her name wrong). The stags at Above Eleven are also very very good. From my 3 nights stay here at this hotel, and although the hotel cleanliness and location is a plus, it’s the staffs that made our stay very enjoyable and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Phnom Penh.

Thank you for another exceptional stay at the Novotel Phnom Penh BKK1 - your hotel feels like home when I'm in Cambodia. Liza continues to go above and beyond - the lounge is always an exceptional experience. Thank you for a wonderful upgrade, it always make a difference. My only feedback is on the coffee at breakfast (I am a coffee 'snob' so my standards are very high - so I understand that I have higher expectations than most guests). The manager tried to tell me that the coffee coming out of the automatic machine is the same as the proper Barista made coffee - yes, the beans might be the same, but the quality of the coffee is no where near the same. Barista made coffee should be way better, and given the quality of the machine you have, you coffee should be better than getting one from Browns. I ended up just going to browns for good coffee as having it from the automatic machine isn't great. I didn't feel like the quality of breakfast was as good as before, and the muesli definitely wasn't as good as previous times.
