Mostly friendly/ some with difficulty to understand questions in English but manageable. Not honoring the Accor status. E.g no welcome amenities (never got). My document while checking in had a wrong name on it etc.

This Novotel is on Par with Sofitel! As an Accor Platinum member who visits Phnom Penh annually and has stayed at many Sofitel properties around the world, I can confidently say that Novotel Phnom Penh delivers a service level that is absolutely on par with luxury brands. This was, without a doubt, the best hotel experience I have ever had in this city. The seamless experience began at the airport with a very friendly Novotel airport transfer driver. Upon arrival, Front Office Manager Phearom gave us a very warm and professional welcome. His hospitality was outstanding, and the excellent room upgrade he arranged, along with the thoughtful Welcome Gift, made our stay truly special. I would like to personally commend the following team members for their exceptional service: 20th Floor Executive Lounge: Liza provided impeccable service; her attention to detail and care were second to none. Ground Floor Restaurant: Heng was incredibly thoughtful, always checking in on us to ensure our dining experience was perfect. Rooftop Bar & Restaurant: Breathtaking views combined with a team that always serves with a genuine, warm smile. The hard work and kindness of the entire team made me fall in love with this hotel. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. I will definitely be back soon!

I've stayed here many times as it is very convenient to our Cambodia office, and I've stayed in everything from the city view king room to the king suite and all work well (though some rooms/room types lack a desk to work at). It does seem that once a trip, the WiFi goes down for a few hours, but the staff will give you access to a different network if you ask. The staff really makes the hotel. They always recognize me (I'm sure that there is a flag in the system, but it still feels very welcoming) and are super helpful for any issues or questions.
