Definitely not a five star resort. Food and service is 3.5 stars at best. Only here one day and noticed many “minor” inconveniences that you wouldn’t experience at a real five star resort. The TV in the room is very outdated and cannot connect to basic streaming services, nor can I screen share with an iPhone. Might as well not even have one. Instead of providing regular bottled water service, you get 2 glass bottles that you have to constantly walk to a water station to fill. I’ve only seen 1 water station on the premises thus far. The water is also lukewarm. At the breakfast buffet you are not served drinks nor is your coffee refilled. Staff consistently walks past tables with dirty plates without clearing them. At the pool/beach you only get one towel per guest. The towel is not even long enough to cover the whole lounge chair. Half the chair is too hot to touch by noon. You are also charged for water at the pool/beach unless you bring your own lukewarm water station water. Lastly, I was out all day, came back at 4pm, and room was still not made despite leaving the sign for service on the door handle. As for the pros: the overall property is nice and well kept. Not a large resort by any means but the pool is huge and There are plenty of lounge chairs both at the pool and beach. No umbrellas on the beach though just shade provided by palm trees. The room is also as advertised and the bed comfy. Additional note, there was an outdoor wedding 1st night here. Indian techno music was blaring in our room until about 10pm. Would’ve been nice to be given a heads up when we checked in as it was right outside our balcony
