Do NOT ever book this hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything was a disaster. We paid €1008 for one week in half-board, and since we missed dinner on the first night, the hotel offered us a “late dinner” , an absolute catastrophe and a disgrace to the hospitality industry. We were served two slices of bread, a bit of cheese, and two apples. A total shame for a so-called 5-star hotel. To make things worse, we weren’t even given our wristbands upon arrival, which led to confusion later when we were accused of using “all-inclusive” services we never had access to. The manager even claimed I had taken advantage of the all-inclusive offer while I was literally in Cairo at that time, clearly an attempt to scam me. The atmosphere in this hotel is toxic and dishonest. Their only goal seems to be tricking tourists. You can’t stay five minutes at the pool or the beach without being constantly harassed by people trying to sell you quad rides, diving sessions, spa treatments, and more. If guests want an activity, they’ll go to reception, no need for this endless harassment. Even worse, some staff members made sexist and inappropriate comments toward my girlfriend, which was completely unacceptable and made us feel unsafe. And the final insult: we were charged €12 per pool card that the housekeeper herself removed from our room while we were away. We only stayed two nights instead of 7 in this dreadful place, but that was more than enough. A complete disgrace to the ACCOR group. Don’t make the same mistake we did — this hotel doesn’t deserve its 5 stars. Shameful !

I’m have holidays on this hotel , I’m enjoying it . First of all I’m glad to write about stuff animation team is crazy always dance, play , show . Always with smile and they are professional I’m wanna say thanks for my free time them ! Play with kids , sport animation on the level 5 , at the evening nice djs set on the beach with dancing 🫶🏼every evening different local and professional show ! Good luck in your job

We had a fantastic stay, thanks to staff from Movenpick Water Park Resort, our room was quiet, modern, clean, excellent service, drinks and food menu. The best dinner we had was at Mongolian restaurant. Every day we enjoyed sunshine, clean sea, beach walk, quiet time at the "relax area, adults only", which we appreciate it. We want to say a special thanks to Kamel, Mohamed, Mahmoud, Yussef from the beach bar and restaurant. They had the best customer service and our holidays went so smooth because of their caring and every day smile. Thanks to all amazing team 🙏

Very disappointing experience

I had high expectations for Movenpick Water Park Resort, but unfortunately, my stay was disappointing overall. Here are the main issues we faced: Pool: The main pool was extremely cold and not heated as promised. It was clearly mentioned during the reservation that the pool is heated, which was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. Every time we asked, we got a different answer (“it’s working,” “maintenance,” “tomorrow,” etc.). Finally, the manager admitted the heating won’t work until November — this information should have been communicated clearly before booking. Room water pressure: I stayed on the 4th floor, and the water pressure was very weak and even stopped completely twice. Reception insisted there was no issue, but housekeeping confirmed there was a problem with the pumps. Electricity: Power in the room suddenly went off for no clear reason. The issue wasn’t fixed until the next day. Shower and cleanliness: The shower area was not clean at all — there were strange deposits and what looked like bacteria or mineral build-up. It gave a very poor impression of hygiene. Air conditioning: The AC was very weak and barely cooled the room. Although maintenance came to check it, there was no improvement. We even asked to change the room, but we were told there was no availability — all of this happened within just 4 days of our stay. Food: The taste was good, but there was very limited variety — almost the same options every day. Animation team: The animation team was far below the standard expected from a hotel like Movenpick. There was no proper entertainment and poor organization overall. Pool behavior: Some non-Egyptian guests were using the pool without proper swimwear (cottont-shirt), and surprisingly, no one from the staff addressed it. This shouldn’t be acceptable in a five-star international resort. Snacks: For an all-inclusive hotel, it was surprising that snacks were only available during lunch hours, not between meals like in most resorts. Reception experience: When I checked in, I was told that since my reservation was by ALL application I was considered a VIP or special guest — but unfortunately, the service didn’t reflect that at all. Even during check-out, no one from the reception asked about my stay or feedback, which shows a real lack of customer care and follow-up. ✅ Positive note: The Water Park was genuinely nice and enjoyable. It was the only thing that made us continue our stay until the end. Overall, a 4-day stay that didn’t meet expectations. I truly hope management takes these comments seriously, as the place has great potential but needs urgent improvement in service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.

It' was a great holidays! The hotel is really good place to spend tune there. It's a very pretty building with nice and clean rooms. The staff is the best! They are very friendly and helpful (especially in a restaurant, bars and the cleaners). Really, professional service! The food is very tasty. I would like to recommend to visit a Bedouin Tent on the beach. It's a place with very positive energy! They serve a lot of oriental, delicious teas and coffee. The staff is very kind also. If you choose this hotel you'will very glad.
