We rate this hotel as highly customer-oriented with a rich all-inclusive concept. The first impression was wonderful – from the nice welcome and a guided tour of the resort, to the assigned large spacious room and the beautiful, well-maintained grounds. We highly appreciated the own online platform for booking à la carte restaurants and submitting special requests. We also appreciate the hotel's eco-friendly focus and the implemented green measures. Furthermore, we highly value the strong emphasis on cleanliness and hygiene throughout the entire resort. The room was always clean, and the hotel staff worked with great dedication. We especially valued those who communicated with a smile, as that is incredibly important for the guests. Although the Turquoise restaurant was extremely crowded during the first few days of our stay—both for breakfast and dinner—the staff always did their absolute best to ensure guest satisfaction. This made us enjoy the very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere at breakfast in Society and dinners in the à la carte restaurants even more. We would particularly like to highlight the service and the chefs at People's and the Asian restaurant. The views from the Panorama bar are perfect, as are their cocktails. We really enjoyed the fresh fruit juices served at breakfast and in the lobby, the excellent juices at the Fit Bar, and also the dried fruits and nuts served with drinks at the bars. The only fruit we missed was watermelon. The beach at Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas is beautiful, well-kept, with fine sand and a gradual entry into the sea. On the other hand, the Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View beach is windier with pebbles at the water's edge, and the water remains knee-deep for quite a distance. We also appreciated the variety of the evening entertainment in Magawish Arena, which was of a high standard, as well as the live instrumental music in the lobby and the main restaurant. We loved the large number of swimming pools, which were almost empty during our stay, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful time there with pleasant background music. Not for publication in a review: To help the hotel further improve its services and ensure a flawless guest experience, we would like to offer a few suggestions: 1.) Mykonos Beach Club music: We felt that dance music in the style of 'summer dancing hits' was missing. It would have entertained the crowds of people who arrived there in the evening. Instead, the DJ—while good at what she did—played the exact same style, the same hard beat, and the same playlist every single night. It wasn't the kind of music people could easily dance to, and it was also too loud. Even when she played a summer song upon request, it was remixed into a hard beat, making it difficult to dance to. 2.) Beach volleyball: One beach volleyball court will likely not be enough during the peak summer season; a second court would be a great addition. 3.) Air conditioning: The air conditioning in the restaurants was too strong, and women and children were often cold. 4.) Room 75106 feedback: We missed more towel hooks on the bathroom wall. The shower head holder was loose. Water from the shower leaked into the toilet area. The soundproofing between the rooms connected by doors could also be improved as we could hear the guests next door whenever they spoke louder. 5.) Boat trips and sandbank transfers: Both the hotel and Pirates offered boat trips, but at relatively high prices. Many guests would appreciate a simple speedboat transfer to the sandbank right across from the hotel beach, just to walk around for about 20–30 minutes, take some photos, and come back. This kind of service was not available, but we are sure many people would use it if it were offered at a reasonable price (for example, €50 per boat).

A Wonderful Stay at Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas in Hurghada! Everything was perfect — from the beautiful surroundings and excellent service to the incredible atmosphere of the resort. A special thank you to the hotel team for the beautiful villa. It was spacious, elegant, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the care that made our stay so special. The staff were very friendly,especially Angi Amgad and Eslam Mousa, and professional, always making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful beaches, delicious food, and everything you need for a relaxing and unforgettable holiday. The stay was wonderful. The reception was excellent, with a very high level of hospitality and a warm welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, and the room service was very responsive and efficient. The restaurants offered a great variety, and the food was excellent. I only have one comment: the staff at the pool and beach bars do not seem to consider that guests may understand their language. Unfortunately, on three occasions in front of me, there were inappropriate comments and offensive language,either making inappropriate comments about a guest or using inappropriate language among themselves. . This made me uncomfortable, especially because I did not want my son to hear such language, as we speak Arabic. I believe the staff should be more professional and more mindful of their language, as guests may understand what they are saying, and they should ensure that inappropriate or offensive language is not heard by guests.

​We arrived at the hotel around 4:00 AM and waited until 11:00 AM for an early check-in. However, the wait turned out to be more than worth it, as the hotel generously upgraded us to a gorgeous Superior Suite. ​The architecture and the overall layout of the property are absolutely beautiful, creating a wonderful atmosphere for a vacation. When it comes to dining, the open buffet was generally good, but the a la carte restaurants were definitely the highlight—offering a much more meticulous and carefully prepared culinary experience. ​I want to give a special mention to the F&B Manager Mr. Fatih who personally took care of us during our stay. From seamlessly handling our a la carte reservations to organizing a beautiful birthday cake for my wife, every single detail was managed with exceptional care. In fact, the overall attentiveness of the staff and their dedication to fulfilling our requests were highly satisfying across the board. ​On the downside, the beach experience was quite frustrating and needs management's attention. While trying to relax, we were constantly approached by staff trying to sell boat trips and photography tours. It became genuinely annoying after a while—they even woke my wife up from her sleep at one point, which is unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. ​Additionally, the number of sunbeds on the beach is simply insufficient. If you head down a bit late in the day, finding an empty spot is virtually impossible. Finally, the designated swimming area in the sea is restricted to a very limited zone, which quickly makes the water feel overcrowded. ​Overall, despite the drawbacks at the beach, the incredible service, the suite upgrade, and the excellent dining made it a very memorable stay.

I had the best time in this hotel. It was everything I was looking for. Clean, spacious rooms. Great pools. Amazing views! And a lot of activities esp the sports at the exclusive sport club that was my favorite part! Will definitely be coming back.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and every member of the staff was welcoming and professional. I would like to give special recognition to Mr. Ihab Galal, the Reception Manager, for his outstanding hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was smooth and enjoyable. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine willingness to help made a lasting impression. He handled every request with efficiency and a warm smile, making me feel truly valued as a guest. Exceptional team members like Mr. Ihab are the reason guests return. Thank you to him and the entire hotel staff for making my stay such a memorable experience. The Rixos Magawish Bay View and Suites and Villas combine to provide a great vacation experience with shared resources and excellent accommodation. It’s a big resort and you cover a lot of ground walking or you can take advantage of the very frequent and flexible free buggy service. Either way there is a lot to explore across the site from the superb beach right back to the large lobby building and including over 30 swimming pools of decent or large size. Bars aplenty including the super Panorama are open most of the day and you have a wide ranging dining choice including the large buffet. À la carte choices include the excellent Italian, Asian, Salt seafood, BBQ and Turkish with more option being opened up including the Brazilian/Mexican. This Rixos is still expanding but the ongoing construction work was as discreet as possible as changes are being made. The whole facility is well maintained and you feel that guests come first everywhere. And it’s the staff who should take most credit. From the front desk team through porters, buggy drivers and the housekeeping group to bar staff, catering and the impressive guest relations- not forgetting the lifeguards and garden maintenance team - everyone is so friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have felt more refreshed when we left to travel home. We’ve enjoyed Rixos hotels in several locations and Magawish is up there. Yes, a great experience.

Beautiful grounds, nice rooms — but that’s where the positives end. The service is nowhere near what you’d expect from Rixos or any genuine 5-star property. Fresh fruit was virtually absent (just apples and grapes). The à la carte restaurants — Asian, Turkish, Greek — were a disappointment across the board: long waits, mediocre food that doesn’t come close to à la carte standards. Think rolls with barely any salmon, or seafood soup with no seafood to speak of. In the main restaurant, staff refused to bring drinks using made-up excuses — then poured those same drinks for themselves. Tables sat dirty, and guests were told to fetch their own beverages. It felt like a canteen, not a luxury hotel. Cocktails served in paper cups. Golf cart drivers were rude, shouted at children, and showed zero respect for guests. The one bright spot: the SALT restaurant. Attentive staff, genuine recommendations, actual service. Everything else pales in comparison. Overall this feels like a 3–4 star hotel wearing a 5-star price tag. Cannot recommend.
