To be honest, I was very much reluctant considering to express this publicly, and it took me some time to sit down and arrange my expressions on these sensitive issues, however, after a double-reading of the insensitive and unconcerned responses from the Reservation Manager of the property, I think should write this. During this stay, there were several aspects that left a positive impression. The restaurant staff provided a very warm and welcoming service, and the front desk staff were highly efficient and helpful, ensuring a smooth and fast check-in process. However, it was disappointing to note that the response to the feedback I provided felt more like an attempt to justify the situation rather than genuinely address the concern. I had intentionally shared my feedback directly in hopes that it would be handled internally rather than appearing publicly on the Accor website. Unfortunately, the response I received gave the impression of defensiveness rather than accountability. In particular, I raised a concern regarding hygiene standards at the cocktail bar. I observed that the bartender used a tasting spoon, placed it in their mouth, and then returned the same spoon to a shared container for bar tools. This raised serious concerns, as it appeared highly likely that the spoon could be reused. The explanation provided—that spoons are replaced every four hours and soaked in cleaning solution—was not reassuring and did not adequately address the hygiene concern. On the contrary, it further reinforced the perception of inadequate sanitary practices. Even in well-established restaurants, separate tasting spoons are typically used and properly cleaned after each use. Additionally, I observed another bartender tasting the iced chocolate we ordered for my child by placing a drop on the back of their hand and then actually licking it from there. Although this did not directly contaminate the drink, I feel uncomfortable and reluctant to consume it, especially for my child. Additionally, I would like to highlight a concern regarding the reservations team. During the booking process, the telephone communication was not up to standard, with periods of silence, lack of clear responses, and an unfriendly tone. While my overall stay was pleasant, the handling of my feedback and the response received were disappointing and diminished the experience. I regret having to share this publicly, however, I hope this honest and constructive feedback will be helpful for future improvements. Thank you.
