the Movenpick team is very nice and welcoming, taking care of their guest in a professional manners. they are always ready to support, very easy going and flexible The young lady Mayssa was so nice with us taking care of each details of our stay. Thanks The Chef Mr Chamsedine was amazing he has prepared a great meals on daily basis. The waiter Mohamed he was so nice with us bringing everyday our breakfast and ready to customize it based on our need and on the spot. Thanks, please keep going as it is with your big banana smile.

The hotel was very dirty

We had a very pleasant stay, the hotel and the location are both exceptional. Excellent services and staff. The first night was a bit noisy though. I would probably choose a suite with the seaview for a future stay.

Buffet needs to be more consistent from opening to closing times. There was a leak in bathroom that made floor very wet you need more maintance coverage in rooms. Overall hotel was very nice and well maintained. The staff was very professional and well presented.

I have been a loyal customer of your hotel in Gammarth for years because your hotel offers me what meets my needs such as comfort, luxury, facilities, catering, .... Desirable improvements: L'Horizon restaurant: the thoroughness of the staff in terms of dress (kept with grease stains and not ironed), cleanliness of tables and windows. Reception: previously there was a refreshment (for example a lemonade) at the reception and fruit in the room; not this time. Good points: The porters do their job very well and with kindness; The afternoon chocolate is delicious. Best regards and happy newyear! Gerwine G.

My room was much more expensive than the last time I stayed, but exactly the same as the last time. I wanted to have a bath at some point, but the bath was covered in ants. So I decided to go and spend some time in the lounge area instead, but it will so full of cigarette smoke that I could hardly breathe. In the 21st century for it still to be allowed for people to smoke in public spaces is unacceptable - its a health hazard.

The hotel was beautiful, especially the lobby area. Amenities were good, but in the hotel and the room. I wasn't that impressed with the buffet. Although there were so many varieties, I always had trouble finding things I wanted to eat. Perhaps following international standards with local varieties is good. Housekeeping could also improve, as they had a habit of not replenishing with new towels.

Stay was comfortable and staff very professional and helpful. Need to ensure food items in room are restocked on a daily basis. During my stay there was never a restocking of either refrigerated items or the coffee/ tea items.

Amazing location right on the beach, good spa, good food, nice lobby. The only reason I couldn't give a 10 was that my reservation experince was very sub-standard, and when I checked in no one actually showed me to my room, which was quite hard to find.

There was a consistent amount of ants in my room every evening when I arrived back from the hotel. This was due to the cleaning staff opening the door leading to outside when they were cleaning the room. The food was also the worst food I have experienced in a movenpick hotel. For my work I travel internationally and I have experienced a high level or food and service quality from movenpick hotels but the hotel in Tunis does not have the same standard. The food quality in the main hotel restaurant was not consistent from day to day so you never knew what to expect. The buffet food was available from 6.30 pm. I arrived at this time and on multiple occasions the full buffet was not yet ready so I had to continue to wait 10 - 15 minutes. The buffet food also had no heating element or system to keep the food warm. The food quickly became cold after it was sent out to the restaurant. The service within the restaurant was slow. In the morning for breakfast there was a very small selection of food. Cold potato wedges every morning is not an enjoyable experience! There was an adequate amount of staff but there was no urgency from the staff members to serve the customer. During breakfast times staff members were visibly stressed and standards of serviced slipped because of this. At night the members of staff were available but they had to be pre-emptied to serve you.

Three days stay to rest and have a nice weekend and sleep. The house keeping woke us up at 8am on Saturday. They did the same on Sunday. I told them to stop. They came back at 9am. Can you believe it.
