The hotel has very good location and good breakfast and cleaning service. The female employee at the counter was always frowning, and the response was not friendly and seemed annoying. All other employees were very kind and friendly.

From the first minute i was warmly greeted by m. Testouri at reception desk. He was always on hand providing advice and going the extra mile for me so a special thank you to him. I am also grateful for Rania Grati. Rami in the restaurant was also friendly showing me the different dishes. The hotel has a balcony with a bar which is conveniant and quiet. The breakfast buffet is also nice and the rooms are always kept clean. I wish the staff success and hope to visit them in the future if i retrurn to Tunis. Hanief

It was not possible to heat up the room - the technician said it´s not possible - in the night I felt cold sometimes - in another hotel they brought a little heater to me. The personnel in the breakfast always forgets something. Like there are no spoons at the coffee machines, the salt is empty, the oil is leaking, etc. It is these small details that makes the difference between perfect and just good. Anyway I will book there again because it is still better than other hotels I know there.

OK, but needs updating and poor quality breakfast

First, the staff was excellent and always helpful. But the hotel is failing. I booked a suite but it wasn’t worth the extra cost, as the room decor was poor and needed updating. Breakfast was bad. That a hotel can’t offer a basic such a good fresh coffee these days is amazing, but the choice here was either coffee from a giant pot that was really nasty as it was brewed hours earlier or a machine that used awful instant coffee. The fresh fruit selection was awful and this in a country that produces delicious fruit. I most of the fruit was tinned. There was a small bowl of tomatoes and cucumbers that was enough for 2 or 3 customers, I never saw it replenished.

It was for conference and the booking was done by the organisers. Some members of staff at the reception were a bit snarky in their response to guests but in general they were all polite and professional. The dining area staff was good and the room was clean.

My stay was very good. My only concern is that the room furniture is quite old and is no longer attractive compared to competition.

False advertised information

The hotel was good both comfortable and good postion to the centre. One major problem is that when i booked the room it was for 3 adults and selected a room for 3 adults. When we arrived the receptioist said that the 3rd bed in that room was small and not suitable for an adult. This left me booking another room which meant my stay costed me double than i planned for. ACCOR needs to ensure that they advertice correct information unless they want to be seen as unscrupolous and underhand to customers. I am still unsure if this was not a scam to get me to pay more but the jury still out on this.

I was treated as if i had arrived to my home. Being welcomed from the entrance by your name to the check in and during the stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Offered an upgrade of the room, and eating at the restaurant after a full day of meetings is like returning home for a relaxing time. Would highly suggest to stay at the Novotel In Tunis.

1) I was not picked up in the airport Sunday evening as confirmed 2) Monday I was not able to get help to find a charger for my labtop. Also I could not get any explanation as to why I was not picked up. Last but not least the hotel were not able to buy me a train ticket for Sfax. 3) Tuesday morning I paid 70 Dinar to the hotel and they would get me a charger. 5 min later I was told it was not possible anyway and they could still not help me. 4) Tuesday evening the restaurant was out of the first bottle of wine I chose. 5) Wednesday morning the kitchen was out of mushroom for my omelet 6) Wednesday I evening I sat down at a table NOT reserved, opened my labtop to start working, but I was told the table was reserved despite not sign. I sat down at another table and exactly the same happened again.
