Very good vale for money. The staff are friendly, the rooms very clean and the beds soo comfortable. The nearby parking is expensive, ask for the discount code in advance of entering.

Great budget hotel, but still is good environment, very clean, provided coffee, tea, cups and glasses in room and shower gel hand wash etc. Plenty of shelf space and hangers. No hair dryer but knew this prior and brought my own. Air-conditioning wasn't working in the room but for 1 night was fine. Stayed with our dog.

Mixed staff. Some good, some bad.

Check-in and check-out staff were great, as were the catering staff (thank you for the Yorkshire Tea bags). However the staff member working on Friday night 10th October told us the bar was closed. We questioned this with one of his colleagues on Saturday morning who said the bar is meant to be open 24/7. Asked several times for an extra pillow (we only had on each), but these never materialised. Also, the breakfast is expensive for what you get. There is a Wetherspoons 5 minutes walk away that serves a much cheaper breakfast, has a greater variety of choice and do breakfasts until 12 noon.

I had an adapted room, room was cold, couldnt control the aircon as it was locked, am disabled so couldn't get down to reception, did try calling 4 times ans no one answered. Bed was rock solid, covers were very thin, all in all it was a very bad night.
