Good points - Great central location yet very quiet in the rooms, spacious rooms with lots of furniture, I had both a shower and a bath, the curtains were good blackout variety so nice and dark. All the staff were very friendly and helpful Bad points - The decor is tired, there were old mouse droppings on my floor, the hotel is being powered by a generator on the back of a truck so pipes running through side door propped open with chairs into foyer, on the day I left the staff had blocked use of all lifts so old ladies struggling with cases down several flights of stairs

Went with a friend and had afternoon tea which was really nice. Also had a treatment with saffron who was lovely and is very good at her job! Would recommend her for a massage! The facility itself is quite small and not many rooms in the spa to choose from but overall a nice place.

Relaxing and invigorating

My daughter and I were given Spa day gift vouchers for our birthdays. The treatment we had was body and face and we were treated with the utmost kindness and respect. The young lady’s providing the massages were truly amazing and professional. We felt so very relaxed and would highly recommend this venue and staff. The only thing I would say is that when you’re booking you arrive at 10 but our treatment didn’t start until 12 but we did some shopping around Sheffield after we had booked in. All staff are lovely from the reception to the bar staff to the treatment rooms. Well worth a visit 🩷

After arriving yesterday for my spa day with afternoon tea, I would not recommend anyone to book. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the most unhelpful/grumpy person on reception! Was told we had to leave some form of back card behind reception for the lockers & robes (which I can appreciate if the robes/towels was luxury items) but, they were old dated scruffy robes and towels. We was then was told to go downstairs, no good morning, no showing around the facilities, no info given about the afternoon tea. Upon finding the changing rooms, they was very dated and not easy assessable with the volume of people in there! We then entered the pool area were we was told we couldn’t use the swimming lane due to a lesson, leaving us to us 3/4 size freezing cold pool with too many other people, so therefore couldn’t really swim. We decided to go back to the reception to ask about our afternoon tea, told just go to champagne bar before 4:30, again want shown were to go so wondered all over the hotel to find it. Again, furniture was dirty and outdated, the lady on the bar was very rude and tried to say half way through our food, that we had booked in wrong name and that we were having someone else’s afternoon tea, this was not the case…infact she’d crossed the wrong surname off list once we’d shown her! The spa facilities was very run down and filthy, the ice room vent was rusty, smashed and damn right filthy. We then used the stream room which again wasn’t very clean and couldn’t get in the sauna due too overcrowded. We sat for a little while on the loungers near the sauna to be greeted with mice!!! We then cut our day short, and politely told the receptionist the reason why, we had no apologies and another lady popped out from a corner and said I’ll take a look. We then left the premises! I will certainly not be returning here, and would advise people to AVOID.!!!! This was bought as a gift for a relaxing treat day, which was totally the opposite of what we would have expected. VERY POOR QUALITY AND SERVICE

AVOID!!!!!! I have been here today after booking a spa day along with a afternoon tea, we arrived at the spa reception the lady on reception wasnt very helpful at all, told us we had to leave a bank card or something for our locker key, that was fine, we then was handed our complimentary robes, towel & slippers, was told we needed to go to -2, as we did then had to go back to find out about our afternoon tea, as this hadn't been explained to us, the changing rooms where very small and the lockers arnt in the best of places to access when people are getting changed, myself and my friend had to move several times due to people wanting to get into lockers, we where then in the spa had been in the pool of which was very very cold, then went in the steam room & ice room, all of which is very dated, in the ice room the fan on the ceiling was very dusty and broken, we then laid on the loungers next to the experience shower, to be greeted by vermin ( my biggest phoebia) The spa day was then obviously cut short due to this, we went to reception after and told them, they said someone would go and look, no apology or anything. The afternoon tea was okay, not the best ive ever had. I wouldn't recommend this spa at all to anyone!!!!!! Staff wasnt welcoming at all found them quite rude.
