I advised the shower had no hot water. This was acknowledged by the person at reception. Why would you give a room without hot water to a platinum member. Let alone an ordinary customer! I was advised that the manager would ring me to discuss recompense. I have heard from no-one. I’ll be creating a very negative review on Google.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is good walking distance to the beach and downtown. The room itself was just fine. We found stains on our sheets and called to have our sheets replaced. The staff was accommodating of that but dismissed the stains found which I found to be unacceptable. After the sheets were replaced we found small stains again.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for walking within Port Douglas for restaurants, marina and beach. The only issue was we had no hot water for 2 days which dampened our experience.

Small room for the pricing and the bed was not overly comfortable - it could need replacing. I found the bar area a bit too understated but understand that a lot of children come to the property.

Disappointed with the gold member experience. Having to ask for gold member discounts at checkout is clumsy. Told I should have asked for discounts every time we had a meal or a drink. I thought member benefits would be applied automatically to my account. this wasn't th expereince i expected

Staff who clean rooms require much more training and supervision. They do a very scant job with no sweeping for over a week. They simply make bed, provide new towels and replenish tea/coffee. Had to ask for more body wash from reception. Reception staff also need training in professionalism. There were no trained staff to address proper disposal of broken glass in our room on a Saturday evening. One employee with a dirty mop who admitted he did not know what to do is not the standard one might expect at Peppers.

All your staff from housekeeping to front of house incredibly charming and friendly. Work on your housekeeping. Our apartment on check in really needed a thorough inspection throughout. Outside table top was dirty and we cleaned it, bannister of pool barrier was dirty, tops of outside lights need cleaning. Under couches inside had not been vacuumed. Garden needs work ie. mulch the area. Debris in the pool an issue but hard to manage
