Overall very good. Only negative was the gas outage resulting in no hot water for 2 days. This was very poorly communicated by the hotel (no formal note till after the first night) with no updates given. Reception staff very unapologetic.

Unfortunately, the emergency shut down of the gas to Port Douglas township due to a faulty regulator was not communicated to the hotel until after it occurred. Despite communication with the gas supplier, the hotel could only communicate once we had the information. As mentioned during your stay, this outage was out of the control of the hotel as it impacted Port Douglas as a town, very frustrating of course for all of our guests. We completely understand this is not an ideal event to occur during your stay, and sincerely apologies that this event impacted your stay and hope to welcome you back to Peppers in the future Warm Regards, Emma

No gas for 3 days was very unsatisfying. There was no compensation or discount off the bill. Not very happy with the stay

Kind and helpful staff Food was good Location is very good Spa on balcony was nice and clean Room was a 3 star experience No amenities No water bottles provided Loud banging from other guests slamming doors My bed had sand on it, not sure how it happened.
