Overall we enjoyed our stay. However I felt that for a that room that is a deluxe suite it was very ordinary - the carpet was thin ans stained. Plastic furniture and a dirty balcony is not acceptable thank you. Definitely needs an upgrade. Disappointed.

Upon arrival we were a little suspicious that our first nights sleep may not be fanatic. Saw the room was tired & once we say/ lay on bed felt springs through mattress. Dips in the two mattresses that made up the king bed! The next day I mention to reception staff that we'd had a terrible night. Got instant apology & solution offered. Two rooms were offered(upgrade) & we quickly decided on a pool view room, moved & had a hugely different nights sleep. So grateful for the understanding & result. Was a nice stop off to enjoy Umina beach walk, coffee & dining in & out of room. The central coast was interesting. Would prefer to stay at Ettalong than The Entrance.

I had to cancel my stay and did so the week before. Therefore, I was entitled to a refund. Instead I received an email saying had to pay full fees and no refund! It then took about 7 emails and a phone all from me until I confirmed that I would get my refund. It has been 2 weeks and still no refund . The communication is terrible.
