The room was a good size and clean. The sofa bed was a bit clunky and lacked support. Every floor seemed to have random missing sections of carpet and the lobby also had exposed concrete as if it was undergoing renovation, however in the 4 nights we were there nothing seemed to be happening and reception did not mention anything about it on check in. One lift was out of order due to upgrades and we were notified about this in advance so no issue there. The lighting in the shower area of the bathroom is quite poor which is worsened by a dark shower curtain, a light shower curtain would allow much more light to pass. No room servicing and no additional garbage bags, toilet paper or tissues.... so when you want to empty the rubbish you have to go to reception to get a new bin liner, a couple of spares would be appreciated. Lots of car parking spaces however sections are very dark, some appeared to activate on movement and others just remained off. Staff were friendly and polite in our interactions. This is a decent hotel that could be so much better with a bit of effort, care and communication.

Disappointed that there was no telephone in my room due to 'problems' within the establishment. It did cause me some angst and I would have preferred to have been told at least on check-in.

There was carpet missing on the floor in the hallways, and I think you should have some 1 bedroom rooms with walk in showers, there were a lot of our group who had trouble climbing into the spa bath to shower.

When we arrived, we noticed a bottle of wine with a card for someone else in the room. When we told reception, they said we had to leave that room as it was for someone else. We were not happy, to say the least. We packed our things and went back downstairs. We were placed in a terrible room overlooking some gravel of a roof. There was no apology for getting the room incorrect and they didn't even try to get us a better room after I complained.
